I purchased prescription Oakley rimless glasses 8 months ago (in October 2021) from LensCrafters in Saucon Valley, PA. They weren’t inexpensive - they cost over $700 but I paid $362 out of pocket for them - and was fine with that, knowing that they were supposed to be good glasses, plus they had a 2-year warranty. Well, in June, both lenses cracked at the point where the arms and the nose pieces connect to the lenses. I contacted LensCrafters and was told that, while they sold them to me, the warranty is through Oakley, so I needed to contact them directly. So I did. When I went onto their website, it clearly states that their glasses are covered for two years. This was reassuring, because LensCrafters could’ve told me anything they wanted. So I filed a warranty claim, sent pictures of the glasses and my receipt to them and waited to hear what I needed to do to get them repaired. Well, they replied, with no explanation whatsoever, just stating that my glasses were not covered! This is totally unacceptable! I am stuck wearing an old cheap pair of rimless glasses that I bought online from EyeBuy Direct, which, by the way, I haven’t had a single issue with! I’m appalled that a company with such a huge following can be so pathetic. It’s truly false advertising! I did nothing to my glasses - they cracked just from daily useage, for a whopping 8 months! Their name means nothing anymore! I’ll never, ever buy anything from Oakley again! Do yourself a favor and go to Zenni or any other online eyeglass retailer. They have way better lenses for a great price!

Desired outcome: They should refund my money if they’re not going to stand behind their glasses and their phony warranty!
