Review updated:

The officiating this year in the nfl is in need of a review. Management has given the referees the okay to call the games, there must be a conspiracy in the nfl with the big money makers who own the teams. The nfl is giving the ref's the go ahead to make calls that are deciding games. Teams are not changelling these calls for fear of losing their time outs because the nfl has targeted some teams, and the nfl is getting paid off for these calls and there un-just system. I have informed several of my friends and family not to watch you cheats.

You people know it, and so do i!!

The outcome of the Houston/Jacksonville week 3 game is a perfect example of why coaches should be able to challenge penalties. When a bad penalty call decides the outcome of the game, it should be reviewable!!!

@imrightalways I have always been of the belief that humans make errors, but after sitting through last night's Chargers-Steelers game I believe officials CHOOSE their calls or non-calls, thus making challenging horrible calls an acceptable solution.

Jerry Jones must have the refs in his pocket. Don't they see the same replays as the national audience? Poor Andy Reed.

the arizonsa green bay game was the worst case of one-sided officiating i've ever seen. the ruffing the passer call against green bay was a player blocked into the QB by AZ, at the same time there was a clear case of offensive pass interference against Fitzgerald, but the TD ensued. In overtime, not only did the green bay QB double-clutch the pass, the defender grabbed his face mask. there wasn't an incomplete pass ruling or a personal foul called. Clearly the officiating staff missed too many calls in favor of AZ.

I do not agree that during the vikings vs. saints game that that 4th touchdown was a touchdown. He clearly did not cross the plane. I realize that angles during review are important, but also up to the board as far as which ones are selected. The NFL would clearly benefit more from making fair calls and not trying to influence the spread to benefit the few!

In the Titans Steelers game today- the officials are certainly slanted towarded the Steelers as was indicated in the call against the titans ruling a fumble on Collins when his hand had started foward and should have been a incomplete pass and before that the intentional grounding which if it had been any high profile QB would have allowed the throw away. I think the officials are usually good but I also know they lean to make calls in favor of known intities in the league.

I cannot believe the garbage that is allowed as officating. A little while ago, just a little before the end of the first half, in the Tenn. Dallas game the referee called a player in bounds when the replay showed that he stepped on the line beyond any doubt Even an imbicle would have made the correct call. It is obvious that the referee has been paid off. The man should never be allowed to officiate another game even in "little league".; He should be in jail. I cannot believe the NfFLallows shuch obvious corruption to take place. ForGod's sake at least attempt to keep things honest.

Two bad calls in the Texans / KC game. First with false start call when the Texans were clearly in the wrong and then a pass interference call when the guy caught the ball. Are you kidding me? What a bunch of B'S.

How in the world can an NFL ref say there was no definitive proof that Miami recovered that ball in the end zone when three Miami players fell on the ball, AND a Miami player came out with the ball !!??!!?? That had so much BS on it, I could smell it in Jacksonville Florida !!! (refering to the Miami vs Pittsburgh on Oct. 24, 2010 with two and half minutes left in the game)

NFL Referee Commitee should be ashamed of themselves. How do you schedule a referee to to call games of their (close to) hometown origin? Case and point...the communist turd Gene Steratore who called the Steelers/Dolphins game. An obvious major screwup by the ref squad...all my years watching football, that had to be the most horrible call I've ever witnessed in life. That foul up certainly appears the NFL is taking lessons from the NBA referring school of [censor]'s! And Gene, just for the record, take your pathetic, non-integrity, lame excuse of a ref back to PA!!! YOU DON'T BELONG ON A FOOTBALL FIELD YOU DISHONEST [censored]!

NFL HONCHO's...YOU NEED TO BE AWARE OF THIS AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT OTHERWISE YOU ARE JUST AS GUILTY AS THE PATHETIC and DISHONEST REF's!!!

I dont Know if they just dont like vick or what but the game was full of bogus calls
4th &18 and that bull [censor] call of unnecessary ruffness?
    What the F?
The guy was clearly going for the swat @ the ball and gets called for roughness because he hit
the illustriuos mister manninig in the helmet
the league needs to do something about this attrocity that is happening to the refs and there power

The answer is not to get rid of Goodell or boycott games. I don't know which of those is less likely to occur. As much as this turns my stomach, the answer is to follow the lead created by our government politicians and file formal complaints. Lobbying for a better resolution has become the only way to get things done in a world of red tape.

The steelers vs. ravens game on december 5 was a little bit unfair with the hit on heath miller. if that was harrison he would have been fined at least a good 50 K but no there was no penalty even thrown for that hit. the referees and all this fineing [censor] about every little thing is ruining football. just let them play the way they used to. why do the players even where helmets now, its not like they are allowed to tackle anyone.

Steelers vs. Ravens game on Dec 5th: Once again, the officials miss another call. Two hits tonight with one of them a definite hit on a defenseless player. Let's recap: The first hit on the Quarterback literally reconfigured Ben's nose. If that was Tom Brady, three flags would have hit the grass, but since it was against Pittsburgh nothing was called. The second missed call tonight is more of my concern as the officials and commissioner have been targeting the Pittsburgh for helmet to helmet hits and fines. The second hit was on Heath Miller who was deemed a defenseless receiver but received a concussion from an unnecessary hit. ONCE AGAIN no call from the officials. If that hit was initiated by the steelers, it would have been 15 yards and a hefty fine. All I can say is WT[censored] Just sick of it.

the San Diego vs San Fran debacle tonight is another good example of the referees being more important than the players. Could they bend SF over any more and it is only halftime! The NFL is fixed. The ref's can't possibly be that bad on their own. they have to have an agenda to suck that much.

The officiating for the Saints vs Falcons game was terrible. It was clear to me, and you also, that the ref's were doing all they can to assure the Falcons a win in their dome, however, their plan did not work thanks to the strength of the Saints. The worst call of the game, "Roughing the passer against the Saints" was mindless, please... Drew Brees was grabbed on the shoulder in the same manner several plays later and they did not call it, there is one example of corruption. Don't get me wrong, most of their calls were on target, however, ~ 30% were not and favored the Falcons, ------you want proof, how about the stats at the end of the game, Saints penalized 100 yards compared to the 10 yards for the Falcons, COME'ON MAN !!!

There were TOO MANY missed calls by the refs who you KNOW saw the blunders by the squeelers and the refs MADE SURE the squeelers won this game. Yesterday ravens/stealers (not a fan) sucked! that game was not officiated fair and square. I don't mind losing to a team but to refs I mind a lot. you're there for the better judgement of both teams not one! the call back on l. webb td was absurd and the holding call that I didn't even see on cody was another one. and other games i've watched during this season and sat and wondered if me and that ref are watching the same game. somtimes I wonder are they paid off or they have a betting pool going on like the coaches of the nba had. if so I hope they all get exposed and time in jail.

The officials at the Bears/Packers game need to be fired. First the no call for pass interfence on Woodson against Hester, then the Holding call on the Johnny Knox punt return that never happened. Officials should be heavely fined or fired, and in this case investigated to make sure that they do not have bets on the games. I have never seen such blatent misuse of officiating. Obviously penalties should have replay and be overturned as well because these officials are not getting it right

Even as a female and married to a ex-football player, I can absolutely say that some of the worse refereeing that I have seen - Seahawks vs Browns was today. Seahawks should of had at least 14 points; but the referee's have way to much control/power to destroy games. I can understand the players need to be protected, but come, brushing the cloth on the shoulder from behind, which caused a penalty and no touchdown. How much are the referee's getting paid off? Since the touchdowns now have to be reviewed, why not now have all penalties being reviewed from above. I bet that majority of the so called penalties would be called back and take now the referee's money for each wrong penalty called. I bet things will be looked at differently when now the referee's paycheck is being dipped into. Not that this complaint will go anywhere, but something needs to be done. The referee's are getting worse - to much power. (Sounds familiar Wall Street)

I have been watching and playing football for the past 45 years and my comment is concise as a result. I think that the NFL Commissioner and those making the rules on hitting, tackling and other wise playing the Dam game of football are turning the game into a bunch f-pussies. Maybe you all should change out your tampons and set this game out, better yet pick up game of Tennis you bunch of Jack-wagons. With regards to Harrison of the Steeler hitting McCoy or anyone else to hard, get real!!! My mother burped me harder then that. You all have turned into a bunch of pansies.

There were several games again this year decided by refs. I been complaining for years and the wife didn't believe me. The wife told me yesterday that after what she saw this year that I was right and she doesn't want to watch these refs and fixed games. you can tell before the end of a game who the refs are going to let win. They don't make calls against some teams and others get bad calls against them it happens every week. If we went back and changed all the bad calls and non calls you would be surprised on who might be playing in the playoffs and who wouldn't be there. It has become apparent that the nfl is a fixed sport now and they don't care about the rest of it.

The Giants Vs Green Bay had 2 bad call against the Riants, 1st When Green Bay fumbleand theGiants got the ball The Refs.
went to review and still got it wrong. Look lik3 they wanted Green Bay to win. The Worst oF all late forth quarter Green Bay
Forth down they call a personal foul on the Giants for late hit on Green Bay Quaterback, It was just a arm tackle.
This keep Green bay alive, The Refs. gave Green Bay all the Breaks. I was a High School Ref. over 20 years and they
Make more bad call than there is in High Schools games.

The rules are ridiculous. It's called football people. It's a contact sport. It's like the NFL rule committee has no idea what that means. A reason why people watch hockey is because they can make contact and not get a penalty. what is the point in wearing padding if you don't need it. Also the refs are giving teams every break they can get. a great example of that is the Green Bay vs. Giants divisional playoff game in 2012. The Giants got cheated twice. First was the bad call on the not calling Greg Jennings drop a fumble. Another was the the horrible late hit call on Osi. That kept the Packers drive going. Get ride of the stupid rules.

I am a casual sports fan. I watch full games of several sports but I don't have favorite teams. I have to tell you that I switched off the game between New England and Baltimore near the end of the first half because I just couldn't take that officiating. It detracted from the game. I don't know what the issues are with your regular officials but your willingness to destroy your product is amazing. When you consider the "GDP" of the NFL; the ticket sales, the network revenue, the merchandise, etc, the cost for officiating is dust on a mountain. Those guys should be full time employees. When not in season, they should be training, practicing, lecturing, improving their craft. I can tell you right now, I'll watch less this year because of your, incompetence would seem to be the right word here.

The officials this year are the same like last year they are bad. We want the Collage Officials. They are fair and they don't favor teams. Year after year the regular officials been screwing the Philadelphia Eagles and other teams in the league and I want you to stop them from doing it. Each year the Sportcasters were picking the Philadelphia Eagles to be in the playoffs. But every year they don't. Because of the officials. The officials signed a contract. How about you treat them like players. If they make a mistake. They get suspended or fired. Just like the players do if they cheat or do something outside of football. The Officiating for the Broncos Vs Colts game last night was terrible that refs was clearly are on the Colts side. The Colts defenders were all over the Broncos receivers and both times that the Broncos were at the end zone when Eric Decker hit his football on the orange pillon and when Ronnie Hillman fumble the football and he clearly recover it. I also think there were some late hit on Peyton Manning that should of been called as well. When are the Officiating office going to come down hard on the crew for making so many bad calls ? If I want to see refs making bad calls bring back the replacement refs and least we know they can't go wrong ... yeah right.
