NexGen did an awesome job in getting our house and shed roofs repaired after hail damage this summer. They kept us updated on when everything was going to be worked on, and got it done very quickly. They were professional, responsive, and knowledgeable as well as very easy to work with. We would highly recommend them. Thanks Cody for everything!

My project manager Jim did a great job handling my insurance companies objections when they denied the storm damage to my siding and roof. He followed through and worked very hard with proper guidelines to eventually get all of my roof and siding paid for under insurance proceeds. Thanks Jim and Nexgen Exteriors for providing SUPERIOR SERVICE! I recommend Jim to anyone!

We had NexGen Exteriors do both our siding and roof. Our salesman was Jim Smith and he was so helpful and explained everything in detail. Originally our house was white with blue gray brick except you really couldn't see the brick. Now with the blue siding and white trim it really looks great. With spring here and people walking by we get quite few compliments. Vickie & Craig

Great exterior company, Donovan was awesome to work with! and he was very helpful as this was our first insurance claim. He was detailed in explaining every step and our roof was replaced in two days. We had to remind them of small jobs that needed to be done but everything turned out great! we have already sent a few friend references ton NextGen as they are great. Thanks for a great work!

This company is fantastic. Cody went out of his way to come to our home, and ensure our gutter project went as smoothly as possible. Once we decided on the design. His team worked efficiently to ensure the project was completed as soon as possible, so we could avoid a mess with the next major melt. Nexgen bent over backwards to help us get our roof repaired after hail damage. This was an excellent company and wonderful people to work with. Our sales representative James Dotseth, made many trips to our home to make sure everything was done correctly. I give them an A+ and would recommend them wholeheartedly. NexGen Exteriors and representative, Cody Smith, worked tirelessly to give me superior quality product on my house, 25 yr shingles, and 120'x40' garage out building's, metal roofing. Excellent job on both with timely completion and hard working professional crews. There were challenges that were encountered with my insurance company but again Michael and Ryan spent endless hours ironing out the issues and getting a resolve. Cody watched over the project til the end. I highly recommend NexGen Exterior.

From Steve C. NexGen did a great job on my roof. My roof had hail damage and NexGen worked closely with my insurance company to get things lined up for me. The Roofers completed the job in less than a day: removing a layer of shingles, and putting down new ones. They also put on new roof vents and even installed some leaf- guards in my gutters - while they were up there ! NexGen representatives made several visits to my home pre and post roof install to make-sure all looked good and that I was happy. Very good company to work with.

We had a FANTASTIC experience using NexGen Exteriors, Inc for our replacement windows. From start to finish the team at NexGen was professional, knowledgeable and, most importantly, on-time. They didn't try to up-sell us on the windows that made them the most money but worked with us to stay within our budgetary needs. The installers were courteous, customer oriented and left our job-site clean. I didn't find one nail, screw or piece of scrap in our yard! We are 100% satisfied with the final product and the job the team at NexGen did . If you are considering new windows, siding or a roof give them a call. You won't be disappointed. I would recommend NexGen exteriors if you need work done on your house. Cody Smith and Donovan Johnson arrived promptly, examined the house very thoroughly for hail and wind damage, were very helpful throughout the entire process (and very nice, friendly, and professional to boot). They let me know what would happen every step of the way, as well as what I would personally need to take care of. They arrived early, stayed late, and had the roof replaced in a day. Another person came out later to do the gutters. Cody worked with the installer to have a special gutter put in to alleviate wheelchair ice-mare. That was a big relief for us. I would recommend NexGen (and already have).

NexGen Exteriors just completed a roof replacement on our 130,000 square foot manufacturing plant in Northeast Minneapolis. This project included removing half a million pounds of rock and replacing the ballasted roof with mechanically fastened TPO roofing. NexGen also added 46 operable skylights and electrically wired them for remote operation. NexGen's Sales Project Manager, Ann Smith, and Vice President, Shawn Johnson, were extremely responsive, knowledgeable and professional. The work was performed expertly and expediently from beginning to end. Given the vast scope of this job and the manner in which it was executed, I would highly recommend NexGen Exteriors for ANY size project be it commercial or residential.

Last year in July we had a hail storm and like most neighborhoods were inundated with contractors going door to door. I was determined to not fall prey to some fly by night contractor from out of state or who knows where. Cody approached me as I was cleaning up my yard and I was wary to say the least. his professionalism and willingness to provide his credentials and that of NexGen and to answer all my questions led us to decide to go with NexGen. We then found out that there were issues with the insurance company and getting the job done. Again professionalism, and caring for the customer got us a settlement through insurance that would ultimately get us a new roof, not because we wanted to rip off the insurance but because the insurance only wanted to do a partial repair and NexGen went to bat for us because our original shingles were no longer available so the whole roof had to be replaced. After that the insurance and mortgage company screwed everything up when issuing payment and by that time it was middle of winter. At the first sign of decent weather, NexGen sent a crew and scheduled the new roofing and gutters and trim. It was professional, efficient and done quickly and our home looks beautiful. I highly recommend NexGen and Cody for any repairs and/or improvements to your home.

May 17 To whom it may concern, My name is Matthew Johnson. I am a Connecticut implant and the son of a Harvard Professor. I have owned a successful Construction Management firm in the Twin Cities for twenty six years and own twenty five single family homes in the Twin Cities. Nexgen has installed every roof that required replacement that my firm owns. I am not writing this letter to tell you about my professional or personal life, rather I am writing this letter to attest to Nexgen's ability to follow through and provide a competitive and superior exterior envelope replacement. My experiences with this firm over the last many years have been fantastic. I represent clients to build specs, put the work to competitively bid and oversee the contractor and installation crews. Nexgen has installed hundreds of thousands of square feet of asphalt shingles to my specifications as well as the manufacturer's specifications. I ensure warranties and quality or workmanship for my clients. Many of my client's projects are massive multifamily roof replacements. Additionally, Nexgen has successfully completed many of my client's single family roof replacements. A construction company is only as good as those employees or partners that estimate, communicate, schedule and oversee the work. I am writing this letter to attest to the quality of the work and communication levels by Nexgen. That said, this letter is to attest to the professionalism, knowledge and level of communication that I expect from a turn-key firm like Nexgen. This person I speak of is Vice President, Shawn Anderson, who has always stepped up the task at hand and to resolve roofing and siding issues that always come up with any of my client's large projects. This is the nature of rehab work. The big multifamily projects are complicated. Years later, after a roof replacement a leak showed up in one of the units in a 142 unit roof replacement project in Roseville, Minnesota. I called Shawn and in a timely manner, a roofing crew showed up and we flood tested the roof system. It turned out to be non-roof related issue, rather it was a condensation issue relative to interior high humidity, relative to the Minnesota subzero climate. That said, the crew, Shawn and myself were there to resolve and troubleshoot the issue the next day. I talk about this because it shows that Nexgen has always been there for my clients. Recently a very large tree fell on a client's home in Minneapolis. I recommended that this personal friend simply call Shawn and that Nexgen will take care of it to my specifications. She is so happy with the level of communication and knowing her roof has a manufacturers and company warranty. I did stop by when the tree was removed and the new roof was being installed to ensure that my standard specifications were being followed. I had zero issues with all of the work. That is very, very rare for someone who oversees exterior replacements for a living.
