I refer to the response i had received from News Cafe, Firstly we were not wearing tracksuits, secondly there were people sitting at the tables at the entrance wearing t shirts and takkies though they were having a good time and we were told we not allowed in, due to our dress code. i understand and am fully aware of the smart casual dress code, Though there are signs at News Cafe's taht say after 6PM you have to be dressed smart casual to be let in. And i have been told before that if you are inside the News Cafe before 6PM dressed in takkies and a t shirt you may stay and will not be asked to leave. Again we were there before 6PM.
Can someone please tell me when the staff & service at News Cafe CT Int Airport will be upgraded? It's a disgrace to visitors to our country as well as locals! I've been there 6 times so far this year (as there was no other restaurant at the time) and the service has been absolutely shocking and slow every single time I've been there. My sister waited 15 minutes for a filter coffee last night & I waited 20 minutes for a juice (ordered cranberry but was served orange instead) and then another 10 minutes after asking for our bill? The service really needs to be jacked up soon and especially with 2010 coming up!
