I have been on Long Term Disability Group Benefits Solution, previously Cigna, that I purchased through my Previous Employer. I paid for the insurance for many years. I have a serious Back Disease and cannot maintain any normal life due to this condition. My Physicians have provided my information as Permanant Disabled due to the disease. The claims rep is asking for complete documentation and my ability to return to work status every time I go to the Doctor. As everyone is aware it is a lot to ask your doctor to complete all of this paperwork every time you visit the Doctor.
I am 63 yrs old and have a struggle to do any type of activity. The claims dept has all of the information. Their currently contacting my Doctor's by phone and asking them specific questions on my ability to perform "ANY" type of work. Their constantly harassing me and my Doctors. The Neurosurgeon has provided them, numerous time, a 100% perm disabled form and statement.
This keeps me upset all the time.
