This business is reporting my payment as "late" even though it's paid
This business is reporting my payment as "late" even though it's paid. I receive ALL of their advertising communications with no problems, but they didn't notify me of it being late. Once I was made aware, I took care of it right away.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
1) NCD Financial is a fully compliant company. Companies such as NCD Financial that are data furnishers, or who report on individual customers' payments to Credit Bureaus operate in a HIGHLY regulated environment. NCD Financial MUST report accurately.
2)When ever a customer misses an authorized scheduled payment: NCD Financial:
A) Sends a Text Message to the customer with a link to resubmit the payment.
B) NCD Financial sends an email to the customer with a link to resubmit the payment.
Additionally, NCD Financial sends customers Monthly Statements that let the customer know the amount due that would include any missed payment amount and the due date.
NCD Financial does NOT charge interest, or late fees. While we charge a missed payment fee when payments are returned by banks, this is waived when a customer makes up the payment.
As the Customer in question received texts, emails, statements from NCD Financial and presumably Statements from their bank, we feel that we went above and beyond our obligation. The Customer did pay the account in full and this is being reported.
NCD Financial would like to make the closing comment that we are pleased to remain updated with BBB standards and remain committed to operationalize them. At the same time, no customer complaint issue should require a company to violate established regulatory rules regarding financing and accurate reporting. We believe that if this customer reviewed her texts and emails from our company, she would be assured that NCD Financial reached out as described above.
NCD Financial feels that this complaint should be removed as the Customer's Account is being reported as Paid in Full and NCD Financial actually exceeded guidelines in customer notifications.

This account is hurting my credit and I need to speak with someone to resolve the issue. Also need to speak with someone to close my account and have yet to make contact with anyone from this company.

I have an account with NCD
I have an account with NCD. ----- There was a problem with the credit card that's on file (required by NCD). ----- I went on their portal and changed the card information. ------ Auth of $1 came through account so I know it's acknowledged. ----- NCD keeps calling to talk to me. I am VERY difficult to reach via phone. They claim to need to do this for auth - they already HAVE auth by way of the $1 charge (which could only have happened by me entering valid information). ----- Meanwhile they refuse to take payment, causing the account to risk going delinquent.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Customer authorized a payment plan for the 7th of each month. After the 12/7/2020 payment was returned unpaid, customer updated and validated a new payment method, but did not authorize a resubmission pursuant to our terms and conditions to meet regulatory and industry standards.
An Agent contacted customer on 12/9/2020 to receive authorization. Customer stated that NCD Financial had authorization and hung up. He then filed this complaint. The time to provide authorization would have been considerably less.
Again, as a fully compliant company, NCD Financial will debit payments pursuant to the payment plan established and authorized by the customer. NCD Financial has CREDITED the customer for the returned payment. The account status is Current.
NCD Financial states that customers have 30 days to resubmit a payment before it is considered delinquent. We appreciate the customer's attention to his account, and we are confident that this issue has been resolved without NCD Financial compromising its regulatory compliance.

I was recommended to use NCD Financial. I ordered the cheapest item on their site which was a cooking pot. The cooking pot was for $279.99 I didn't want to order anything else expensive because that's all I can manage. I've made three on time payments going on 4 every month on the 4th. Out of the blue I received an email saying thank you for your purchase. They ordered me a tote purse which was $552.99 that I declined weeks back when they called me to offer the promotion. It was added to my account and I did not authorize that purchase. I think that's bad business and I wanted to make other aware how they operate. When I tried calling no one answered my calls of course. The second time someone hung up which is weird. Now I just want to pay off my pot that I order and be done with them. I don't like this services and wouldn't recommend especially to mothers who can barely afford it. Proof is attached
