I have ordered and received two orders of masks and filters
I have ordered and received two orders of masks and filters. I received both orders in a timely manner. I have used the copper-infused filters with other masks and the copper-infused mask. Since I'm Covid-free, I suppose I could declare the masks and filters work.
Absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had. Timeline 1) I placed by order & paid in full on March 11th and was told my delivery would come two weeks later. 2) No delivery is scheduled and then everything closes down for COVID. 3) I don't reach out at all throughout April because I figured they were closed even though no one reached out to me or gave me an updated delivery expectation. 4) in mid-May I go to their website and see in red lettering that they are still delivering during COVID so I call and ask why my futon hasn't been delivered. They tell me they can't get in touch with the manufacturing company, but that they're trying as hard as possible to do that. 5) I follow up daily for a week with no progress so then I called the manufacturing company directly, they have my futon, can ship it to me directly no problem, but have not received my order from the The Futon Shop. They call the owner and the next day I am told that everything is moving and someone will reach out to me within the next two days to schedule delivery. 6. One week later and I am still waiting for that call. I have had to follow up almost every day on this matter and no one has a clue what is going on or how to manage my expectations. The Futon Shop took two months to even give my order to the manufacturer...and only did so after I intervened. It's insane. I know everyone is dealing with a lot right now, but don't sell your goods if you can't handle processing the orders or communicating with your customers. This is ridiculous.
Profiteering : the act or activity of making an unreasonable profit on the sale of essential goods especially during times of emergency. Futon Shop is LITERALLY PROFITEERING during the Covid-19 pandemic! They are selling "organic cotton barrier masks" for $20 apiece, however - you cannot breathe through the fabric! Not only is The Futon Shop selling masks that do not work, they remove any negative reviews (last check, only 4 and 5 star reviews except a single one star review saying their mask never arrived). My negative reviews are promptly removed - even after verifying the review via my email address. YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BREATHE THROUGH THE FABRIC! The fabric is waterproof - so of course you can't breathe through them! While wearing the masks, the fabric is sucked up to mouth and nose because no air can go through the fabric, if it is not secure on your face then air can GET AROUND the mask - but then it is obviously not helped at all by wearing the mask. They are selling bogus faulty masks and then being dishonest about it by not posting negative reviews - not even posting questions about the breathability of the masks. This is the worst company ever! And as other reviewers note - their customer service is just awful. The only reply I have received to my emails has been to tell me they are checking on the tracking info (I already have the faulty masks). They are unable to be reached by phone as their "mailbox is full". I have gotten through to a few of their storefronts and the people I have talked to claim to have never tried the barrier mask they sell and tell me to try customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PROFITEERS!

I purchased 5 face masks from The Futon Shop and unfortunately, the quality is way off. I ordered medium adult size masks and they were all different sizes! the straps were all different sizes, one mask had stains on it, and one was completely defected, as if they ran out of material. What's worse, is I emailed customer service 3X, and after getting no response, went to their Facebook page and messaged there 3X---still never responded. Customer service is horrible. This is confirmed by the many negative reviews online about not being responsive as a company. I see they are quick to answers questions online about their masks, when they want to make a sale. Don't buy these masks ---you will be sorry...And if you try to contact The Futon Shop you'll be even more sorry. They are losing a customer for life over this.

Their customer service is horrible. I ordered a simple futon cover that took much longer to arrive than stated and when it finally got here, it was the wrong color. I tried calling and emailing to get the right one or a refund and I can't even get a confirmation that they shipped the right one after 2 weeks. Absolutely unacceptable customer service - steer clear.
April I just received the 3 organic face masks I purchased from The Futon Shop at a cost of just over $16.00 each. They are poorly constructed with thread hanging out on 2 of the 3. The fit is terribly lacking, partly due to cotton not having any "stretch" capacity for a proper fit and a lack of correct seaming. Honestly, I feel these were made for a fraction of the cost they are selling them for. Based on the poor construction, this feels like price gouging to me during these difficult times. I will never purchase from them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. I'm just grateful I didn't purchase a pricier item from them. I'll loose the $50.00...and consider this a lesson learned. DO NOT BUY from this company. I ordered and "Organic" crib mattress for my child and it had been sprayed with some sort of insecticide. I'm an organic farmer and I'm very familiar with the smells of herbicides, fungicides and insecticides. This was a deep disappointment as I really thought I was purchasing an affordable Organic mattress for my child who has health issues. It is sitting in storage wrapped in the plastic and box it was shipped in until I figure out how to dispose of it.

Futon Shop has the most horrible customer service ever. I ordered 2 silk masks and 5 filters. The large mask was defective. One side was 1/2 in longer than the other side. One of the filters were torn. Mistakes happen. It's a pain but I emailed customer service right away and included pictures. I got no response. I asked for updates and ended up sending another request. No response from Futon Shop. In fact, I never got a response until I started my dispute with PayPal. At this point, they responded and asked me to send pictures of the defective products. Mind you, I've already sent pictures before with my original request. They did send the replacement right away, however, it was the wrong size! I ordered a large and they sent medium. I emailed Futon Shop to inform them and their response was: "I personally measured and packaged this item myself and took pictures of my measurements prior to shipping this mask to you, for fear that this may arise. You were absolutely sent a large mask. I can assure you that the mask sent is a large." Needless to say, they were mistaken and I didn't really appreciate their response. My other mask in my original order was a medium. The replacement mask was definitely not a large. I wish I reviewed ComplaintsBoard.com before I ordered from them. I would never give them any business again.
