National Football League [NFL] Stats

Tyler Murry took a six yard sack at the end of tonights game against the Seahawks. To my knowledge the yards he lost were NOT deducted from his rush total. Can you please confirm that those yards were deducted. I watched his stats in real time and I never saw the deduction. This request does not require any more explaining that what is written. Can you please confirm that his stats are correct and the six yard loss is calculated in his rush total. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com I would appreciate a response at your earliest convenience.

Regards Derrick Armelin

NFL Cardinals Player Accused of Flipping Off Trump Supporters in Arizona

(NewsReady.com) - People show support for their preferred candidates in various ways. One of the NFL's top wide receivers has been accused of doing so by disrespecting Trump supporters on Sunday.

On October 25, DeAndre Hopkins, who plays for the Arizona Cardinals, was allegedly driving past a long caravan of the president's supporters in Glendale, AZ. That's when he took both hands off the wheel to raise his middle fingers at the crowd. Images show a man who strongly resembles Hopkins making the gesture from an open-topped black Ferrari.

When Hopkins arrived at the stadium for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, he was wearing the same shirt as the Ferrari driver.

Participants in a pro-Trump political caravan claim Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins swerved through the caravan, gave them the middle finger https://t.co/TeYlITFauu — ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) October 26, 2020

Members of the caravan, which consisted of several hundred vehicles and circled highways in the Glendale area, said Hopkins was driving fast and swerving among the supporters' vehicles. The Cardinals have been approached by local journalists, but so far a statement hasn't been given.

National Football League [NFL] Arizona cardinal receiver behavior

Hi:
Are you going to sanction the Cardinals or their star receiver who "flipped the bird" with both hands, at a caravan of Trump supporters? He should be cited for reckless endangerment, both hands in the air, not one on the steering wheel. Quite frankly, I'm sick of the NFL pandering for black support while millionaire players display this sort of behavior, driving their Ferrari. How many NFL fans can even drive a car like this. You need to do something. I have a sick feeling in my stomach for the NFL now. I'm back to not watching any NFL games again, like I quit when they disrespected our flag during the national anthem. Grow a pair, so to speak and sanction players who behave like this. It gives other decent players like Russell Wilson, and most players a bad image.
Thank You

You need to hold players to a higher standard than the Arizona cardinal in his Ferrari flipping the bird to the caravan of Trump supporters. I'm done watching the NFL for now. DO SOMETHING instead of allowing his behavior "because he's black". He give all black players a bad image and they are mostly decent, goodhearted people.

National Football League [NFL] No Saints in Northwestern Louisiana

I'd love to watch the Saints game today, but unfortunately, my local station isn't showing it. It's showing the Cowboys game. I live IN Louisiana and I'm a lifelong Saints fan. I don't know who created the coverage map, but I know I'm not the only one in the area very unhappy and upset by this. Out of the entire State of Louisiana, only the Northwest corner is not getting every televised game that should be available on the local station. Completely unacceptable.
I live in a rural area and the internet isn't very reliable, so streaming is out of the question and NFL Sunday Ticket isn't in my budget, even though I am a Directv customer. I hope with all of my Who Dat heart that this can be fixed as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Beth Ward in Zwolle, LA

National Football League [NFL] Officials

I don't think that the officials of each of the football games should be able to play favoritism over certain teams. In this particular season I have seen calls in football games that weren't called that should have been called. The referees should pay close attention to both teams that is playing in the games. I am getting tired of seeing just certain teams getting highly penalized and not others. I am getting tired of certain teams getting away with cheating. If scoring plays are going to be reviewed all scoring plays should be reviewed not picking and choosing whose teams scoring plays is reviewed.

National Football League [NFL] Bills Chiefs game

Watching Bills Chiefs game and the refs are not fair in their penalties calling. When 1 side is 0 penalties and the other is 5 you know something is up. But the factor became reality when Coach for Chiefs asked for a measurement for 1st down and was denied a measurement. I have never seen a team coach be denied of a measurement. NFL allows cheating refs to work totally unacceptable.

National Football League [NFL] National anthem

Note to NFL Owners and Commissioner:
As a veteran, I respect the American flag and the National Anthem, and what they stand for. I always stand for the National Anthem. Recent kneeling demonstrations by players and coaches during the National Anthem have gotten me very upset. I know this is happening in other sports too, but I no longer watch them. Kneeling demonstrations being one of the main reasons. But I love watching the NFL, so I now purposely tune into the football games a few minutes into the game to make sure I miss the kneeling demonstration that sickens me. I know I'm not alone in feeling this way, as it is always a subject of discussion at Amvet and VFW meetings. If you and the owners can't control your players, why don't you just stop playing the National Anthem? People supporting the demonstration won't care, and people who love our country won't be offended by the demonstrations. It's a very simple solution. Please do something.

National Football League [NFL] Social injustice

Where is the list of social injustice acceptable to be displayed?Should not every org. be allowed to have their emblem displayed? This is seriously HR 100 question. There r x's of social injustices globally that r not given free publicity on the NFL as well as other "Sports" & x's of sports outlets so how is this acceptable and or appropriate. How can so many others that have felt anguish and suffering amongst multiple other issues against them be heard and or seen on the NFL or is it only blanketed towards racial standards?

National Football League [NFL] Remove the politics

I am a USMC infantry combat veteran who has seen his brothers in arms get hurt, fight and die for the united states and its citizens. I cant believe i fought and watched my friends die to see the most American event be disgraced by crying children (athletes) who know nothing of sacrifice.

I will not support disrespectful athletes who disgrace my country or sport. Remove the politics, no one wants to watch crying children push their social agenda who eat from a silver spoon and have never worked a real job in their life.

National Football League [NFL] Commissioner

As a combat veteran, who has stood in the presence of heroes and understands the concept of "Service Before Self", count me out. Your leadership is a failure and the disgraceful manner in which you allow this pastime to denigrate and dishonor true heroes, both military and first responders, is beyond the pale. "Where there is no vision, the people perish" is a prophetic description from Proverbs because it captures the mindless wandering down a dark path that ultimately leads to destruction and you have freely chosen this path for the nfl. Well done, commissioner, and notice I didn't capitalize the initials as you no longer deserve even that level of respect. This family and our resources will be offered to other activities that respect and understand our veterans shared sacrifices, something you and most of the men that play a game can not comprehend. Pretty sure you won't have the courage to respond to this comment or other similar ones because that would take courage, honor and fortitude. And those seem lacking in your DNA...Col Kevin Woods, and you can call me, Sir

Yall went and put the name of a known criminal on your helmets. Antwon Rose killed a black man in a drive by and yet we only care about the thug? That's disgusting. If you cared about black lives your would not support BLM. You have your sports casters crying on tv for Thugs when average law abiding people are having their businesses burned and lives taken. I will never watch another game with my little cousins or buy them anymore merchandise. I might not be a sports fan but you can bet your [censored] that the little ones being brought up in the world will know what you have done. National Football League [NFL] the players being allowed to take a knee during the national anthem

We will no longer be watching NFL due to the decision to allow players to take a knee during the anthem. The field is their workplace and politics personal feelings should not be broadcast at work. If I did that at my job, I would be fired. The players have rights, but keep them off the field. If they don't want to do that, stay in the locker room.

National Football League [NFL] Protest

As a US Navy veteran I am sickened about protests about my country and my flag. It also concerns me that IF there are any patriots in the NFL they wont speak up. Shameful what the TEXANS did during the national anthem last Thursday. I may watch a game or two to see who the sponsors are. This situation is very troubling. Despicable how athlete millionaires disrespect the very ones who they ultimately get their big salaries from and despicable how they disregard how they got and enjoy freedom.

My grandfather is also a vet, he came from Jamaica to America in the 50s and joined the Army. However today he's over 80 and retired, moved to a small town that is mostly white people, and he gets pulled over, questioned, and treated like a criminal, for no reason, other than he's black. He drives a Mercedes, and I think they wonder if he stole it or something, or even wonder why he's in the neighborhood, bc he " looks like he doesn't belong there " do you know hope heartbreaking that is to him? To have to be treated like he is lesser then another guy who is white? My grandfather has never committed a crime in his life, he served his country and had to work extremely hard to eventually own his own business, and wanted the American dream far him and his family. Yet he gets treated like a 2nd rate citizen. So remember, that racism is still a big issue for black people, and unfortunately that is the sad truth. This is why black lives matter is a movement that this country needs, so people like my grandfather, a hard-working vet, isn't treated like a criminal just because he's black! Support your fellow black Americans, they are like you. But are not treated with the same respect.

After 35 years of watching the NFL I can no longer watch games were there are players kneeling and standing together in Unity instead of just doing the job they are paid for. I have canceled my season tickets, and direct TV. If anyone behaved like this at there job they would be fired Immediately for not doing my job and bringing politics in the workplace. In the end the players will no longer be making millions, the owners will start losing money and the ratings will be down 80 percent. I guess the NFL no longer cares about being profitable and are more intersted getting involved with political views

National Football League [NFL] Mike Silver insensitive remarks

On a day police officers are fighting for their lives you raise some pretty important questions about people putting their bodies on the line for our entertainment. Well what do you have to say about the men and women who put their lives on the line for our safety. I am pretty sure you have never taken a real risk or put your body on the line for anything. However I don't believe you shouldn't have an opinion. You made it clear that you do not value anyone else's right to have an opinion. Not that you care, but your comments and attempts to scold people who have an alternative opinion to yours show your insensitivity and ignorance. You are responsible for your words and your one sided approach breeds mutual disrespect. A learned man should know better. NFL Network, what are you thinking? I am sorry peopled booed the players and I for one am a champion of unity. But Mike's divisiveness is the very Cheap rhetoric that empowers the troubled souls to commit Heinous acts of violence. # MLK # peaceful protest #ignorance is bliss

National Football League [NFL] BLM

The NFL is a Disgrace to this country! You stand behind BLM when they are a racist Marxist group. The two cops gunned down in LA the blood is on your hands. You need to wake up and look at the facts that blacks are listed in every poll as the most racist group in this country. You think cops are the problem and its not. More whites and cops are killed than blacks getting killed by cops. It starts with you teach blacks and others to respect cops and to listen to what they say. When you fight with cops that is when things happen. Since you are standing behind BLM that gives them a free pass to go out and kill cops. This needs to stop now the people have spoken and we are sick and tired of black pulling the race called when they are the most racist in this country and that is even to other black by calling them uncle tom or your not black enough? What does that mean not black enough? Is that mean you have to be a thug to be black? Wake up and if more cops are killed the blood is on your hands. The people have spoken!

Im sick of you people saying its a Marxist group, im not a Marxist! I'm multi racial y grandfather is over 70 and retired and bought a house in a small town and ever since then, he has been pulled over and treated like a criminal, even though he was doing nothing at all wrong, be drives a Mercedes, and I think they automatically think be stole it or something, also they act like this black man wouldn't be living in this nice expensive house... So please stop acting like all black people are pulling the race card, when you have no idea what its like for a elderly black man to be treated like a criminal, when he never been arrested in has life. He came to America from Jamaica when he was 18 and joined the Army in the 50s, and after that would put application in for work, he would go in later to "change" something on his application, and guess what, they would pull it out of the trash can! Just bc he was black! My grandfather sent on to owning his own store in New York and married may grandma, who was white, and they got treated terribly. But he loves his country switch he fought for yet be didn't have the same rights as yourself! He fought for the freedom of speech, and just bc someone is protesting something you age against, you call them thugs, assuming they are criminals.. And as far as saying more white people are killed by cops then black people, you need to remember that the majority of the population in America is white, over 70%, and therefore logically of course more white people are killed bc the is way more of white people then black! However you need to also take into account that black people are 3 times more likely then a white person to be pulled over, they are also 3 times more likely to be questioned etc.so that argument of more white people are killed isn't correct when you take into account the amount of white people versus black people in America. But also remember that black people are targeted more so and assumed to be armed(this is ignorance on the police, which in not saying that all cops are bad, but their are definitely bad cops, who are racist) unfortunately systematic racism against black people today his still a very big problem in America, and my grandfather has had issues himself, so we in my family know this to be true sadly. So please, educate yourself and have a conversation with some of your fellow black Americans, and understand what they have went through, bc you have never experienced what they went through personally. Its sad but true. So before you deem people that support Black Lives Matter, as just "thugs" or criminals, they are people like you, trying to live a normal life... My mother who is white bad never experienced police brutality, but my father has, and so have I, im mixed and have been treated terribly by an officer over pulled over just driving home from work one night, I was not doing anything wrong, my tail light was out, and I sad handcuffed and very violently handled even though I was following all directions, I was crying uncontrollably, and shaking bc I have never been b treated with such force or violence, and over what? A tail light? The cop was definitely racist, and treated me like I was some sort of criminal that be thought I had drugs or maybe stole the car? I have never committed a crime or even had a driving ticket... Im 5'1 115lbs, there was no reason far him to treat me the way he did! My mom is always scared that if my dad is pulled over he may be shot, bc he looks black, my mom does not ever get scared when she is pulled over, she white blonde, and has been pulled over and treated with nothing but respect... However not my dad, or even my elderly grandfather, they have had guns drawn on them far simple routine stops (traffic) ...I doing understand, if you love America and believe in the constitution, why are you so mad at people exercising their first amendment, I bet you would be agreeable if it had to do with our 2nd amendment! I fell you may be racist, I hope not... I hope you remember that my family who is half black deserves the same respect your family gets! And we obviously support black lives matter, but we are not Marxist! Stop bring ignorant! Support your fellow black Americans!

BLM and the current NFL are working together to divide and thus destroy our country. I am appalled that the NFL supports a Marxist organization that encourages killing people, most notably gunning down police . If one support BLM, one also supports killing. As bad as the killing of George Floyd was, he was still a thug. But even thugs don't deserve to die that way. Police do NOT hunt down black people. Police are drawn to thugs of all colors because they are asked to respond to all kinds of calls, because people are breaking or suspected of breaking the law. But police ARE being hunted down and killed. Say his name: Ryan Hendrix and many others. Life is a process, and I am disappointed that the NFL is only concerned about the last 10 minutes of a thug's life. Kids need to be taught the game plan for success from the beginning and it means that some generation has to break that chain of generation-to-generation state of victimhood. Get involved in the early decision making, i.e., education, of a person's life, like Danny Wuerfel is doing in Atlanta and New Orleans. Why don't you contribute to his organization, Desire Street Ministries and publicize it? As a former military officer I will try my best to no longer support or watch any NFL games and be lectured by a group of young, rich, pompous, know-it-all athletes that espouse unity but are actually promoting divisiveness and racism. I love my country and its system that allows these rich young athletes to prosper. I also love football, and it will be hard for me to not watch, so this will be a test of my military discipline. It is a welcome challenge, and I would challenge the NFL to support the police as much as they support BLM, but I don't believe the NFL has the fortitude to do that. Please prove me wrong. Thanks for listening. Mark Kiemele
