When I requested the initial quote, the response was very quick, however after that any communication was less than stellar. I called the number to request further information and would never get to speak to anyone. Any extension number that I would dial went to an automated message asking me to leave a message and my call would be returned. On two occasions I left voicemails and they were never returned. Out of frustration I finally sent an email and it was only then that I received a response. As for the updates on my vehicle tracking - those I only received every 7-9 days; certainly not as frequent as what one would be led to believe.

MVS was very helpful right from the start, with the first hiccup we discovered when we called to inquire when we would get our email telling us where and when we were to drop our vehicle, given that COVID restrictions had just tightened. They said they sent the email, only to discover they had not. However they corrected that in a matter of minutes. The last hiccup was when they were due to drop it in Ontario. They phoned our receiving party and said it would be at their door the next day between 10 and 10:30. 3 hours later no word. A quick call to the office here and they called the receiving party 15 minutes later with an update. Final delivery was painless. The price was good and I would use them again without hesitation.

MVS picked up my car in Winnipeg and shipped it to Vancouver. It was picked up and delivered well within the time frame given to me. They called me with updates on the pickup and the delivery status so I didn't have to worry about my brand new car. It showed up just as I left it with a third party in Winnipeg. I had to cab it to a meet up destination but it was very close to my address that is impossible for a big truck to park and unload at. Absolutely everyone was professional, friendly and didn't mind answering questions or taking care of updated delivery related information. It was well worth paying more money to have my brand new car shipped in an enclosed truck. The payment method was convenient. I recommend them. Thanks, MVS!

I was very pleased with the overall process of having my car shipped from Edmonton Alberta to Sudbury Ontario. The driver contacted me by telephone upon pick up, then again a couple of days later and the morning of the actual delivery and finally half an hour before he reached the drop off destination in a pre-arranged area to accommodate the large transport. I was very pleased with the driver's ongoing updating and his work as he unloaded my vehicle. The reason I didn't rate the review with 5 stars is at no time was it ever disclosed to me, verbally or written in emails of the MVS website that MVS does not own the automobile shipping trucks but the delivery is contracted out to a third party. My positive comments above regarding the driver relate totally to the third party's driver.

I had a fantastic experience with MVS in the shipment of my vehicle from Guelph Ont. to Edmonton AB. A driver picked up my vehicle from Guelph at my daughters home and drove it to the location where it would be loaded on the auto hauler and from there it was transported to Edmonton in exactly the same condition that it was when it left Ontario.I cannot express how happy i was with the overall experience in the pick up and delivery of my vehicle and the staff at MVS were always quick to keep me informed of when and where my vehicle would be delivered.The whole trip took 12 days from pick up to delivery in Edmonton which was quick for the distance it traveled in winter conditions. Thanks again and I will be recommending your service to anyone that i know that requires a vehicle transport in the future

MVS moved our vehicle from NL to BC. First off, this is a practical review...we moved the vehicle in the mid of winter and were expecting some delays. The pickup was delayed by a week but to no fault of MVS. Weather conditions put alot of delays on the ferry crossings from the island. It took about four weeks total to get the car. I did get other quotes. MVS offered one of the best quotes and did allow a small quantity of personal items to be stored in the car but at your own risk. They kept sending me tracking information as the vehicle progressed across the country. Had no trouble reaching MVS for information. Because we were shipping in winter was expecting the car to be covered with road grime but was not bad at all. Overall they delivered the vehicle with no issues.Would use MVS in future if required. I was hesitant at first based on a couple of reviews that I read, but I decided to use MVS service. All in all the experience that I had was really good and I would definitely recommend it. No damage or scratches or anything on the car which it was the most important thing to me. In terms of the delivery time, it was a little long (about 3 weeks) but I expected it as it was discussed prior to the contract. One suggestion for MVS, my car was delivered to Vancouver (Delta terminal) and the staff that I had to deal with was not friendly and for the customer service quality at delta terminal I would give only 3 stars. Moreover, we had to walk about 10 minutes on a road with no pedestrian walk path in a very snowy and cold day in order to get to the garage. Overall I gave 4 starts and I would definitely give 5 if I had better experience at Delta terminal. All in all, thank you MVS for shipping my car stress free.

To transport any vehicle, but especially a special vehicle- this is the company to use. I contacted many transport companies about my vehicle, but MVS was the only one I had confidence in. The vehicle is incredibly special to me. It was my Grandfather's with whom I was very close to. He sadly passed away late last year. As well, this car is actually my dream car ever since I saw one in 1998. The joy and sadness of this situation was a little overwhelming at times. My first big decision after taking responsibility for Grandfather's car was to have it shipped across the country. That was a very unnerving decision. I am so proud of my first big decision and I know Grandfather is proud too. MVS had THE best people in Canada handle this car. Not only are they true professionals who take great pride in what they do, they are also awesome people. Very considerate and understanding. Everything about this experience was incredible! I shipped my standard sized SUV from Nova Scotia to British Columbia this winter. Overall I had a very pleasant experience with the move. It was competitively priced and even though it took a while longer than I had expected (being the holidays and all, not MVS' fault) I appreciated the automated updates along the way so I could plan around it. There are faster ways than rail definitely, and the recent floods in BC didn't help, but overall it was fine for me. Took about 5 weeks to show up. The vehicle arrived in the same condition that I dropped it off in so I'm happy for that as well. Would definitely use this company again if I needed to. For those who have had damage in the past, just know that the company only sorts out getting it to the train and not off the train I believe. There was a subcompany that picked it up and stored it on their lot after it got to BC (Canuck Towing) which surprised me. This should have been arranged and discussed before the vehicle arrived. People like to know who has their stuff generally. But they were fine to deal with too. I'm happy to have some mobility again.

I wish I could give them negative stars. My SUV was damaged by MVS in 2020. Prior to handing them the keys in Ontario, she ran smooth and quiet. Driving home from MVS Langley, there was this horrendous growl from one of the front wheels, enough to piss me off.. Additionally, the car failed the provincial safety inspection in BC right after, on account of misaligned wheels. It passed that same inspection in Ontario under 200 miles prior. Perhaps a careless employee slammed that wheel onto a pavement ? Or maybe it wasn't tethered properly for transit- who knows ? So now I've to deal with replacing a front wheel bearing and hub assembly and yet another wheel alignment. I do not know what other front end parts were damaged, it's something I've to play by ear. The owners were awfully cavalier about this and couldn't care less, their response was that a 2017 vehicle with 40K miles wasn't 'new' and such things could happen. If you scroll down their *** page, at least another person (that I've noticed) had a similar broken wheel bearing experience. I would strongly recommend staying away from this company by all means. Just save money and ship directly with *** MVS Canada. These people simply hand over your car to *** anyway.

I had an excellent experience shipping my vehicle through MVS. From the first phone call I placed to the end of the process, every agent I spoke with was polite, professional, and genuinely interested in helping me. I required shipping of my vehicle from Nova Scotia to New Brunswick due to current border restrictions, but had never shipped a vehicle before. The customer service reps were completely understanding of the difficult situation and answered every one of my questions, leaving me completely trusting and confident that my vehicle would be transported safely. I was prepared to wait several days to a couple of weeks for the whole thing, from MVS processing my booking to the vehicle arriving in town. Instead, I placed the booking Monday, my vehicle was dropped off to the terminal in NS on Wednesday, and it arrived at my door (a wonderful surprise, as I was prepared to have to go get it somewhere in town) less than 24 hours after being dropped off in NS. My vehicle is older and modified for off-road, and there were no issues whatsoever with it being transported on the open transport truck. The transport agent even drove it right to the front door of my place. I was worried the modifications may be an issue for transportation but it was no problem. Overall, I could not be more grateful to MVS for their service. It was prompt, informative, and so incredibly easy to place the booking online. I am beyond impressed!

I shipped my car from PEI to BC. I was told I was allowed to have up to 100lbs of personal belongings in the car, but it would not be covered by MVS's insurance and are at your own risk - Fine. I chose to put a few items in my car and I took photos of everything. 4 weeks later my car arrived. When I opened up the truck, I realized that someone had gone through my belongings and stole from my car. I had a brand new Dyson vacuum which was still in the box, in my trunk. Also, I had 2 rubber maid containers in my back seat with clothes and a few other personal belongings inside. It was obvious when I opened up these bins that they had been gone through. A board game that was on the very top of one of the bins was gone as well. When I opened up my glove compartment, I saw that it had literally been cleaned out with the exception of a tampon and my insurance papers, and car manual. Whoever went through my glove compartment even took the ARMOR ALL WIPES container! Not only that but my insurance papers, registration, etc. which have PERSONAL INFORMATION on them were in my glove compartment. I understand that I chose to put some of my personal belongings in my vehicle. However, I trusted that this company would have honest workers working for them. I have 2 main issues with this. #1 These drivers had my keys to my car. We found out from one of the drivers that the cars are left unlocked, with the keys inside. If your car is on the bottom tier of the trailer, and the trailer is parked GOD KNOWS WHEREVER, anyone could easily get into any car on that bottom level. This to me is unacceptable. I believe it should be the responsibility of these drivers to ensure that the cars are locked while the trailer is parked. #2 These DRIVERS had the keys to my car. They were in and out of my car at each terminal, driving it off and onto the new transport trailer. They can pop the trunk to my car at any point. They have access to everything in my car, at any point - day/night. #3 My stuff wasn't stolen from my car due to someone smashing a window and stealing my stuff. The car was left unlocked. I don't even leave my car unlocked at home. I haven't even thoroughly checked through the rest of the rubber-maid containers to see if there are other things missing. What I listed already was just the main obvious ones. I also haven't checked the outside of my car to see if there are any scratches or damage, however after reading other complaints, I'm already sure that there will be damage. Because of what happened with my belongings, I'm also going to point out a few other things that I never would have mentioned otherwise. I opted for "door to door" shipping. Because there is no terminal in PEI, they told me I could leave my car at a dealership and they would pick it up from there. They told me they have drivers who go to PEI 1-2 times/week and because of uncontrollable issues such as weather, they couldn't give me an exact day that it would be picked up. I was provided a tracking number and after 1 week of checking my car still showed that it was in PEI. So I called to ask why it was still there - the representative I spoke with took my information and informed me someone would call me back. An hour later I received an email from MVS with a "shipping update". All of a sudden my car was in Nova Scotia. No one called me back. Another week passed, no update, and when I tracked it, it was still in Nova Scotia. So I called again. Same thing, I was told someone would call me back. An hour later, I receive an email from MVS with an update that my car was in Quebec. It took 2 weeks, and 2 phone calls to get this information. I found this unprofessional and annoying, and under different circumstances, I would not have made a complaint about it. However, given everything else, I definitely feel like complaining about this. I am so angry and disappointed in the transfer of my car with this CANADIAN company. I feel so violated. Someone went through my belongings, saw my name and personal information and insurance information, and stole from me, while my car was being transported across the country WITH THIS COMPANY. I thought this was a responsible and trustworthy company - clearly not. I will never recommend this company and you can bet I'll be telling everyone I know about this. This is not as far as I plan to take this either. You will be hearing from me again.
