Dear Sir/Madam - My husband and I attended the Moulin Rouge 9.00pm performance tonight - 5th November 2012 at the Moulin Rouge, Paris - our tickets were purchased at the Office Du Tourism Et Des Congres De Paris Pyramides on 2nd November 2012 and can provide Ticket no. or receipt number if necessary
During the performance whilst the performers where still on stage the music suddenly ceased playing and over the PA system it was announced that there was a Security Breach and to please make your way to the nearest exit, this was repeated at least 3 separate occasions and the Music did not resume.
As we were terrified that there may in fact be a terrorist attack and not one person from the Moulin rouge Staff or management announced any details to say otherwise we were so scared we made our way from the Theatre Hall. Upon leaving the Hall I approached the Staff at the service counter and was very distressed as I believed there was danger imminent. The Staff called over one of the Manager a Mr Michel Clavier who seemed to believe it was acceptable to have such a things happen calling this just a technical error and could not understand why I was clearly terrified. He insisted that we were the only people who had left the theatre which was not correct as many people including women with children also left the theatre. Mr Clavier seemed to think it was an acceptable situation to have such a technical fault and to not have any Management go on stage or announce through their PA`System that it was a technical error and NOT a security threat that they kept repeating over their PA system. He wanted myself and my husband to stay for the next show, and was completely oblivious to the fact that he had terrified us both and we wanted to leave as soon as possible as we were in fear for our lives. I asked Mr Clavier for a refund and he refused and became abusive ... he then asked what country I came from of which I felt was irrelevant and then he called me "Stupid". My husband asked him to apologize for such rudeness to me of which Mr Clavier "refused" . As My husband was becoming quite upset about Mr Claviers treatment we left the venue .
In this Day and Age when terrorism is to be found everywhere around the world it is understandable that if an announcement stops a performance and announces there is a security breach, that this will terrify any person in a crowded venue . Mr Michel Clavier's abusive behaviour to me was unnecessary in the circumstances and to call me "stupid" in a public place in front of many other people was extremely rude particularly as I was terrified! We paid over 210 Euro to attend the Moulin Rouge and left before it ended as we were asked to leave by their announcement that their was a Security Breach and we were not convinced that it was safe to in fact stay in the venue.

Mr. Michel Clavier is a respectable and highly responsible director, he cares very much about his clients no matter which country they are from. From what I read of this complaint this is just another way of asking for refunds. If you do not accept adventures and some mishaps in your holiday, do not travel...
