I sign a contract with Mosaic finance to have solar panels and backup batteries from Generac installed on my house 7/7/2022 by subcontractor Sun4. I was told by Sun4 that the project would take 2.5 to 3 months before completion. This would at the latest mid October. This December and the project is incomplete. I’m now paying for the loan and the utility company because of false claims from Sun4 the installers. I asked them could they help out with cost and they said there job was done and they are waiting for the electric company to change out the meter for the final inspection before they could activate the solar system. The electric company said this could take a while since they’re only changing out 10 meters a day. I may have to incur this expense for quite sometime.
Country of complaint: United States
Desired outcome: I would like to be reimbursed by Sun4 for the amount that I’m paying to Clay Electric
Update to the above comment. Sun4 completed the installation of my solar panels back in October 2022. Here we are in February 2023 and I still don’t have use of my solar panels. Since November 2022, I’ve been paying for the solar system and paying the electric company. I was basically told week after week that they were sending someone out to repair. Three times they came out to repair but were unsuccessful. So I’m basically stuck with a system that’s not working. They don’t seem to care because they’ve received their money
