We booked a 45ft catamaran crewed Sailboat with the Moorings for May 20, 2020 and paid in full. The pandemic became a major issue and Italy closed it's ports to visitors. We cancelled our trip and asked for a refund when the Moorings stated that we would receive a credit for the booking but they will hold our money. Since no one knew how long the pandemic would last we did not think it was right for the Moorings to hold our money for an indefinite period of time. So we took a 50% refund. Apparently all of the other reservations we made, the flights, hotels, car rental, villa rental all refunded our money. Now that we want to reactivate this same trip the Moorings is unwilling to give us any type of credit towards our new charter. I would like to contact an executive of the company to state my case.
Desired outcome: I need someone to reach out to me and offer a better deal especially that I have chartered several yachts from the Moorings over the past 3 years.
