Mohawk Medical Mall

Tried to buy something from Mohawk Medical Mall for $1, 049.50 in July, 2014, using my Visa card. The transaction was not completed (void), because their manufacturer dropships their orders, and they will not dropship to a residential address. I thought the episode was over at that point. Just today, I looked at my credit card statement, and it shows that this retailer, Mohawk, charged my credit card for $1, 049.50, YESTERDAY, October 1, 2014, 2-3 MONTHS AFTER THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE ATTEMPT! I called Mohawk on the phone and spoke with two separate people. They both denied any wrongdoing. After talking with my bank, the bank stated that the ONLY person who could have charged this was Mohawk Medical. Mohawk, predictably, says that it was my bank's doing. The bank, BB&T, says that they DO NOT charge people's credit cards.

If it's a matter of deciding who is the more likely culprit, a very large regional bank that has been established for 142 years, or a medical supply company based in NY, which do you think is the obvious culprit?

The guilty typically respond to a presentation of evidence with immediate denials, JUST AS MOHAWK DID WHEN I CALLED THEM. Shakespeare said it, "Me thinks thou doest protest too much."

You can do what you want, but I personally will not do business with them for any reason.
