Since the initial filing of my claim for unemployment benefits, I've been met with conflicting correspondence, nonpayment of approved benefits, and continual misinformation from associates of the agency. I've experienced what seemed to be suspicious behavior around my MIWAN account, in that information was changed then changed back, being locked out of the account for days just before a deadline to submit requested documents. Only after reaching out to Gov. Whitmer's office for assistance was this corrected.
I've since been awarded eligibility for payments, as well as being issued a debit card to receive the payments and several explanations as to why I've not received the payments. I must also mention the irony of this situation in that I am a Covid survivor. Mine was one of the first cases and it was indeed a horrible experience resulting in a 2-month hospital stay, a tracheostomy and as one would imagine, financial hardship.

Desired outcome: MY desired outcome is that the stop payment of funds, or the review process or any of the other reasons I've been given be removed or at least expedited so that the payments that I am entitled to be paid.
