Metamask wallet support
I have been a victim of what I can only call extortion by Metamask. At first, it was a simple fix. I was receiving the notification of "Unable to Load balance" on my Gala. I wrote to Metamask support where in they said it was an easy fix, next couple of days my entire balance was deleted and support kept saying I was "hacked" and they needed $500 gas to rid my wallet of the virus or hacking, etc. I provided not only once but twice! (my fault) now they continually email me saying they need $500, or $1200 to return my wallet in full. They also took it upon themselves to assign my assets to a smart contract (they say) which is why they need the extra gas (I gave no permission, I only wanted my Gala swapped). Every time I try to type into support it is met with more extortion and no real communication or value by them...It's not a ton of money, maybe a few thousand but I sure would like recourse or resolve or someone to acknowledge their nefarious ways...any suggestions?
