Luxury Van Lines, Clifton NJ review: Interstate Move. MA to NJ

What a disaster and distressing experience. I moved from MA to FL which was stressful enough then to loose so many of my possessions! I am still trying to replace/rebuy everything. This involves buying and paying to have new furniture put together.

Damaged items:

42 inch TV - smashed in 3 places!

Office desk - ruined. They did not take it apart so the pieces got yanked apart and screw holes ruined.

Bedroom vanity - same as above.

Large TV stand - same as above.

Inlaid wood Armoire - white residue that I think may have come from the tape. I cannot remove it.

File storage bin - lid torn off

Side table - they taped it without covering it so the tape residue ruined the top.

Dining room table - I was told they didn't bother wrapping/covering it. There are many scratches.

Bed frame - more tape residue.

Crushed boxes that contained breakable items such as a barrel and a large decorative ceramic chair. Other items in the boxes covered with glass and ceramic.

The movers confirmed and even pointed out some items that were not protected.

Lost items:

Tall fan

Two legs to my bed frame

Silk flowers

Assembly issues:

Movers did not put the bookcases back together. They also taped them without protection.

Ruined items:

42" TV - cost to replace = 270.00

Vanity - cost to replace $291.99 / amazon.com

Office desk - cost to replace $409.83/ amazon.com

Storage unit - $70.00

Side table - $ 25

TV Stand for 58 inch TV - cost to replace $259

Damaged items:

Armoire - I will have to find someone to sand and re-stain it

Dining room table - I will have to find someone to sand and re-stain it

Crushed boxes broke a bedroom barrel, any other decorative items. So mad that I lost things I had for years.

Scratches on wood floor - Will have to find someone to replace the planks damaged, Luckily, I have spare wood planks.

Estimated cost $800 to restore

And they did not put the bookcases back together.
