Lucielles Smoke House review: Food quality

4/19/2023 9PM visited the Lucielles at 2550 Park Ave, Tustin, CA. 92782. We actually went there a week before and both ordered the tri tip - we were really hungry and remember this to be very good here. Food arrived and it was cold, underdone, and very chewy (possibly because it was so underdone). When I returned on 4/19 I mentioned this to the waiter, who said he would look at the meat himself. My friend ordered the ribs. So my Tri Tip was over-done, dry, and still chewy (I took a photo of it but not sure how to upload here). My friend returned her whole rack of ribs as it was so tough she could barely cut it with a knife.

I complained to the manager, and really I got a very rehearsed and insincere apology. We thought the first night was a fluke as a couple years before the meat would just fall off the bone. Two times in a row it was just ridiculous. Paying $65 for something we didn't enjoy, much less able to eat, was a real rip off and waste of our time - even gave them two chances. Will not be returning.
