I have been buying Lucerne Creamery Vanilla Ice Cream for a year or more. I tried it because it was a reasonable price ($2.99), and the ingredients were mostly pure and simple. Yesterday while shopping at Tom Thumb (Safeway) I purchased 2 half gallons because it was on sale for #4.99 (now the regular price is $5.99) plus the store offered a 25% discount on frozen items. I have been so impressed with this ice cream that I was saying "it's better than Blue Bell". Well, when I ate some last night I thought it tasted different. Thinking maybe it was just me, I ate some today. The taste was definitely different, watered down with an aftertaste. I looked at the ingredients and was furious. It now contains Guar Gum, Locust Bean Gum, carrageenan, caramel color, and annatto oolor. These things were not in the original formula. Of course, it contains milk, cream, nonfat milk, sugar, egg yolks, etc. which WERE in the original formula. I feel duped and furious.

I tried your fudge bar (ice cream). I had to spit it out, no recognizable chocolate or fudge taste just a vile chemical toxic malt taste. 99% of the ingredients are unpronounceable chemicals. Apparently you have joined the Monsanto poison the food chain soft kill team. Shame on you, I'll spread the word.
Lucerene - Open Nature Sorbet - Lemon - is horrible - tastes like lemon oil furniture polish. There is no zesty lemon flavor. I has a nasty bitter after taste.
