I lived in Lucas & Hunt Village Apartments in July. They knocked down a wall because of mold, but now the mold is back on the other wall and it's worse than before. It messed up my stuff. I called the leasing office and the maintenance man came and spray painted, but the mold got worse. Section 8 sent an inspector and said the apartment was moldy. I had to move because they didn't take care of it the first time. They're at fault for this.

I moved into my apartment on March 26. On March 27, I saw some uninvited guests (roaches) in the master bedroom. Also, there was water damage in the kitchen from the sink leaking. I bought several cans of Raid and Roach motels on April 1, but it didn't work. I contacted the Leasing office several times between April 10 to April 20, but no one contacted me back. I understand that because of the pandemic, there were limited staff available. Finally, I spoke with *** on June 8, about my concerns. A member of the staff sprayed, but it didn't help. I have two children ages 3 and 1. My son age 3 has been recently diagnosed with bacterial fungus because of the roaches and the different types of products being applied to kill them. I have talked with ***, ***, and *** about this issue. I even talked with *** about w***g a possible solution. Recently, I have been notified that I can move to another unit, but I need to pay another deposit and a transfer fee. This is not acceptable. I am honoring my responsibilities and obligations as a tenant. I have followed the protocol they put into practice. I am asking someone in your office to assist me in finding the best possible solution for me and my family. Because of the pandemic, my hours were reduced, yet I did not qualify for unemployment. Please help.

I signed a lease with landlord *** on 12/19/22 without seeing the actual unit he was moving me into. I paid $720 in money orders. When I saw the unit, I noticed a lot of damages and repairs needed. I got pictures and filled out a paper with all the things that needed fixing. I was told they would be done in a week, but nothing was fixed. I called and was told they couldn't do it because of the holiday. They were given an extra week, but still nothing was done. When I went to the office to talk about voiding the lease, I was told I couldn't even though I never officially moved in. I asked for another unit, but was denied. I checked the unit again and they did a few things, but I was still denied another apartment because of eviction. I never got notified about the eviction until 02/08/23 through another apartment. I think they tried to take advantage of me because it would have been my first place. I just want the status of evicted removed.
