Will someone please help me and Please “no more lies”.
On 26 August 2022, I ordered and paid for a Patio Door and material for installation. Around 19 Oct 2022 the doors were installed. After finishing, the installer told me and showed me the door latch was not working proper. He said he would order another latch and return to replace the broken one. Before leaving, the installer said he would be back to pick up the old doors. He never did. He left them on the side of the house where they were a safety hazard and eye sore. After a couple of days, I went up to Lowes and informed the salesman. He said he would call to have the doors removed. After a few days they weren’t moved. I went back and informed another salesman. He said he would check and get them moved. Again, the doors didn’t get moved. I went back again and talked to the manager of that department. The doors were moved around the end of October.
As of today, 5 January 2023, the door latch still haven’t been replaced and I haven’t heard a word from Lowes. About 2-3 weeks after installation, I went to Lowes and asked the salesman about the status of the latch. He said that he would check with the installer. After another week, I went back and told the salesman my door is still not fixed. He looked under a cabinet and said this looks like the latch. Again, he said that he will get with the installer. Again, nothing happen. So, I went back again and finally I got a call from a Lowes Installation Support Team member informing me the latch was on order. The ETA was 15 December 2022. Then it changed to 30 December 2022.
I called [protected], 30 December 2022 to get a status. The Lowes representative told me there was a new status date of 4 January 2023. I haven’t heard a word from Lowes! I’m very upset because I spends a lot of money at Lowes! Look at my Lowes charge card!
Desired outcome: Finish repair and partial refund.
