Loan Depot – Mortgage servicing

Our mortgage is with Loan Depot. We got a Covid deferment, and they were working on a loan modification. This process has now taken 2 1/2 years. We were told in July that the modification was approved and complete. We signed documents and had them notarized. They did the same and returned a copy to us. We were told that a delinquency would not be reported to the credit agencies, but they were at over 120 days late. This of course severally impacted our credit ratings. I made my first payment on August 1 and have been current since. Now they say it is not approved because the VA is holding up. The VA says the VA Jr. Lein is incorrect and denied until Loan Depot can correct the numbers. I have been told I should not have been making payments yet. My homeowner's insurance has now been cancelled and cannot be reinstated. My mortgage payment was supposed to include the homeowners, but Loan Depot did not pay it or tell us they were not paying it. I have talked to at least 50 different Loan Depot representatives including both of you, who all have given me different answers I have been promised escalation and resolution and nothing has happened except my 4 payments non of which have paid my homeowners.. I don't trust Loan Depot anymore to complete this process and cannot get ahold of the management people that I was given phone numbers and email addresses for. I don't know what else to do and now I have no Homeowners insurance and my credit is destroyed.
