a woman who goes by the name of Lista Lucy Faircloth has been waging a vicious and unprovoked attack on a business called "Petshack". This woman purchased a dog from Petshack and within two months injured the animal. This woman has wanted her money back from Petshack, although the puppy was perfectly healthy at purchase. Lista Lucy Faircloth has done everything in her power to destroy the reputation of Petshack Chihuahua. Please know that this woman is a menace and her complaints are totally false. The local solicitor is attempting to process Lista with charges for cyber bullying and libel.
You DO realize, don't you, that those pictures are not from Petshack? Poor delusional, crazy woman. You have a serious mental disorder and hope you will get some help. It's very difficult to feel sorry for you, but you've made it pretty obvious from your ramblings that you are out of control and frankly a bit scary. I've advised others to ignore you and not give you an audience. People like you will never stop if they think they're getting attention. I'll take my own advice and say goodbye, crazy Lista! Now why don't you go pick on somebody else? and you will... it's only a matter of time

I curious...has ANYONE...on EITHER side contacted that reporter that wants to do a story on this issue between these parties? If not, I'd suggest that someone do! He would be able to get unbiased pictures and have an unbiased point of view in this whole matter. One thing I DO know is that the language in some of these posts by the business owners does NOT give me a good impression of their ability to conduct a trustworthy business! I think all of you need to consider how you appear to potential business contacts!

They call me silly putty because of my scars! They would actively post horrible things daily while I was in treatment. I will continue to pray for them because the devil is so busy in their lives! Puppy mills & Back yard breeders could be right under your nose and you may not even realise. Keep your eyes open always and don't be afraid to speak up for what you believe in. These puppy farmers have been getting away with it for too long and Pet Shops only feed off them and back yard Breeders. Should you want more information relating to a particular breed do some research, contact the governing dog organization in your state and they will point you in the right direction.Thanks Lucy for bringing to our attention.

OK, I have to put in my two cents here. I have read through this complaint as well as the ones for Petshack and Farrah Troutman. I visited their websites, ect. and have come to the conclusion they are textbook examples of what defines puppy mills. They are not breeding to better the breed, they are breeding for profit. I have worked with some of the top breeders/dog show professionals in the world (yes, Westminister and Krufts champions, folks) and really good, responsible breeders only breed when they are a) needing to replace dogs that have passed in their own kennel or b) they are working to better their breed. The majority will have found homes for the puppies before the litter hits the ground. They plan far in advance and take precautions to ensure healthy puppies are born. Responsible breeders do not breed every heat cycle and they will never breed their females more than 2- 3 times in the ###'s life nor over the age of 6 years. If they do have puppies that are not show quality or if they have financial issues, they will find the perfect forever pet home at not charge. I have never know a responsible breeder to ever dump dogs in the pound - ever. It is not about the money but the love of their dogs. Often when their puppies are placed irt is only with the condition that if the new pet parent cannot keep the dog, they will return the dog to the breeder and not give it away or place it in a shelter/pound. This is usually put in a written and signed contract.
With that said, I unfortunately cannot say the same for backyard breeders. I have found in my years of working in the pet health industry that many of them to be of limited education and unable to see the big picture (i.e. the damaging heartbreak they impart on unsuspecting potential pet parents as well as the animals themselves.) There is little concern for the health of their animals. They are not willing to be honest about the effects of inbreeding, poor vet care, poor diet, poor living conditions, ect. If these people are not willing to spend money on proper health care, nutrition, ect. why would they spend thousands of dollars to buy an animal from outside their circle of friends in order to ensure inbreeding does not happen? I am telling you they don't and won't spend that kind of money to ensure inbreeding is not happening. The last thing on their mind is about doing the right thing by their dogs, their priority is the mighty dollar.
I do not know Lista Lucy Faircloth personally but I do support what she is doing. I live in another part of the US altogether, in a state that has a 98% adoption rate for dogs and a 78% adoption rate for cats (one of the highest in the nation). Although I have been given every opportunity to be the pet parent of some of the best show dog pedigrees, I have opted to rescue two Jack Russell puppy mill survivors - a mother and a daughter named Graci and Margot. I rescued them in 2002 and everyday, they let me know how grateful they are to not be in a mud kennel without shelter in the middle of a cold, rainy winter. I have posted picture of my girlies.
Lista Lucy Faircloth, thank you for exposing these people for who they are. Stay strong and try not to respond to every ridiculous rant that is posted. Keep focused and take the high road, something these unfortunate humans ( I hate to lump them in with the rest of us) could not find even with GPS.

Jody I could not agree with you more! I work at a local shelter and I do home visit BEFORE any animal leaves the shelter they Must be approved! I wish there was a law for breeders to do the same!
With 40 years in animal welfare behind me (plus 30 years training dogs) I can say that all stores which sell dogs to anyone with the means to pay are unethical.
There isn't a reputable breeder on the face of this planet who'd put his/her scrupulously-bred little ones in a cage 24/7, where they could be purchased by any pointy-headed freak walking in off the street.
Reputable breeders ensure their potential puppy buyers are vetted. Many require home checks, and references. Reputable breeders will not sell to someone they haven't met in-person.
Whether or not a pet store is being unfairly denigrated, it doesn't change the fact the "business" is inherently unethical. Selling living creatures as though they're products is repugnant at best, and dangerous, even lethal, to the animal, at worst.
Increasingly, pet stores are being put out of business. There should be more laws making it illegal to sell living beings in a retail setting. (Note: "adoption, " and all the background checks which go along with that, is markedly different from a "sale.")
