Went to this store to purchase Bar Stools. Found a wooden barstool on sale for a very good price. Asked the manager if they had 15 of these as we were buying for a business. They said they did not have that many chairs but another store had the quantity we needed. We placed a hold on them, rented a truck to pick them up as they were about 20 miles away from us.

These chairs were boxed and when we got them home and opened one we found an inferior metal stool that was not even close to what we ordered. After calling and complaining to the manager we were told that they did not have those chairs or quantity. That the sale tag on the chair we looked at was not for the chair we looked at and that we actually received the chairs that was on the tag. A simple unethical bait and switch tactic. I tried to work out something equitable with the manager over similar wooden chairs that were not on sale but to no avail.

I told the manager that they would have to pick up the baited chairs that I wasn't renting a truck or paying to take them back. After haggling a few days they finally had UPS pick them up. Since I used American express, I was able to cancel the transaction by calling the credit card company.

The actions and attitude of this company was totally unacceptable. No regard for the customer, no regard for our business no regard for our time. I have AMEX investigating and they have their cheap chairs back. So my intent is to make other consumers aware this unethical company.
