LastMinuteTravel Avoid LastMinuteTravel: Booked Wrong Flight & Refused Refund

So, I recently booked some flights through LastMinuteTravel to Memmingen from Edinburgh. I was super happy to see that they had flights available on the dates I wanted. However, what happened next was pretty unbelievable. Even though the website clearly stated that the flights listed were to Memmingen and NOT Munich, they went ahead and booked my wife and me on flights to Munich. I was pretty annoyed about this and decided to call them up to complain and ask for a refund. But, they told me to wait for 72 hours while they checked their website. After the 72 hours had passed, I finally received an email from them. But, it was just to tell me that there was nothing wrong with their website, which was a total lie. I'm now left with the choice of either losing ?300 and booking somewhere else or going to Munich and arranging a long rail journey from there to my intended destination.

Honestly, I'm pretty shocked that this online operation is still in business. It's just not acceptable to book someone on the wrong flight and then refuse to refund them.

If you're thinking of booking with LastMinuteTravel, I'd say avoid them at all costs. I even made a printed copy of the relevant webpage that clearly shows that my online flight request was for Memmingen, not Munich. The page was even headed 'lastminute.com - cheap flights from Edinburgh to Memmingen'. So, there's really no excuse for what they did.

Overall, I'd say that LastMinuteTravel is just not worth the risk. There are plenty of other travel websites out there that are much more reliable and won't mess you around like this.

LastMinuteTravel Lastminutetravel.com Review: Hassle-Free Booking and Great Prices

I gotta say, I had a pretty good experience with lastminutetravel.com. I was booking a trip to Florida and ended up needing to change my departure time. I was worried about all the fees and charges that might come with that, but I gave them a call and talked to a really nice lady who helped me out. She said that since my ticket hadn't been officially booked yet, they could cancel it completely and I could just place a new order. No fees or anything! She even sent me an email to confirm that my old order was cancelled. It was super easy and hassle-free.

I also gotta give them props for their pricing. I checked out a bunch of other travel websites and lastminutetravel.com had some of the best prices. Plus, their site was really easy to use and had a lot of options for different flights and hotels. I definitely plan on using them again in the future.

Overall, I was really happy with my experience with lastminutetravel.com. They were helpful, friendly, and had great prices. If you're looking for a good travel website, I'd definitely recommend checking them out.

LastMinuteTravel Beware of LastMinuteTravel: A Total Scam Site for Booking Travel

So, I gotta tell you about my experience with LastMinuteTravel (lastminutetravel.com). Back in December 2017, I was looking to book a room at Yosemite Lodge for a trip in April 2018. I thought I was booking directly with the Lodge, but it turns out my reservation went through LMT. Sneaky, right? Anyway, I didn't realize this until I called the REAL Yosemite Lodge on March 19th to confirm my reservation. And guess what? They had no record of my reservation. None. Nada. Zilch. I was shocked. And to make matters worse, I had already been charged $882.32 for two nights. That's a lot of dough, folks.

Now, I don't mind paying a fair price for a room, but this was a total scam. I found out that Yosemite is usually booked up six months to a year in advance, and even during the busiest season, the most expensive rooms are only $375. So not only did I get ripped off, but the room was never even booked with Yosemite Lodge. Can you believe it?

I wish I could report this company to some federal oversight, but I don't even know where to start. I did have my credit card company's fraud department reach out to LMT, and they said a refund is coming in the next five days. We'll see if that actually happens. I'm not holding my breath.

So, let this be a warning to all of you out there. Beware of LastMinuteTravel. They're a total scam site, and you should avoid them like the plague.

LastMinuteTravel Beware of LastMinuteTravel: Bait and Switch Tactics and Hidden Fees

Be careful when booking with LastMinuteTravel. They may have you book rooms that are not confirmed and cannot be cancelled. It can take days for them to inform you that you may not have a room, leaving you in a terrible situation. Some people have even shown up at the hotel only to find out that their reservations do not exist. In my case, I emailed the company two days before my trip and was surprised to find out that my reservation was with an overbooked hotel, despite no message from LastMinuteTravel.

This seems to be a classic bait and switch strategy. The website lists deals that either never existed or have been sold out for weeks. Then, when you don't get the non-existent cheap reservations, they try to sell you more expensive reservations that they can "guarantee."

If you search the web, you will find that many people report hidden fees and unannounced credit card charges. LastMinuteTravel tends to put all their important information, such as their contract information, FAQs, extra fees, and caveats, in small print pop-ups. If you do not read the small print on every pop-up, you have no idea what you will be charged for. In my case, a pop-up was supposed to inform me that despite my credit card information and agreement to not cancel my room, even though I did not get an exact hotel name, LastMinuteTravel could let me know at any time that I did not, in fact, get a reservation.

It's pretty unfair, right? It's important to be cautious when booking with LastMinuteTravel and to read all the fine print before making any reservations. Don't fall for their bait and switch tactics and be aware of any hidden fees or charges.

LastMinuteTravel Unimpressed with lastminutetravel.com: Late Confirmation, Poor Customer Service, No Compensation

I recently had an experience with lastminutetravel.com that left me feeling extremely unimpressed. I put in a request for a hotel, but unfortunately, they couldn't confirm my reservation straight away. I received an email from the website stating that I would either receive a confirmation email or details of alternative arrangements within 48 hours. However, this did not happen, so I had to make alternative arrangements.

Four days after I submitted my initial accommodation request, I finally received confirmation of my accommodation - less than 24 hours before I was due to arrive. This meant that any cancellation had to be paid in full, which was frustrating. Even though I had booked a UK hotel through a UK website (lastminutetravel.co.uk), I was put on hold for 20 minutes to a US number as that is what was listed as "customer service" on the confirmation email.

I indicated that as the company had not adhered to the contractual agreement initially entered into, I was due to a full refund. However, that was impossible unless the hotel could confirm it. I contacted the hotel, but I have to wait until lastminute.com can confirm the refund. I have dealt with many booking sites before and have never had such issues.

I asked if there would be any compensation made if I was not given the refund, such as vouchers, etc. However, I was told flatly no. Apparently, this company doesn't need customers as they are doing nothing to endear themselves to returning business or the possibility that avid travelers like myself might warn others of their experience.

In my opinion, it's better to stick with booking.com, hotwire.com, or the best of the bunch (in my experience, though not always the cheapest) expedia. I hope this review helps others avoid the same frustrating experience I had with lastminutetravel.com.

LastMinuteTravel Terrible Experience with LastMinuteTravel: Scammers Who Take Your Money and Run

I gotta say, I had a pretty terrible experience with LastMinuteTravel. I mean, I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but I just had to let people know what I went through. So, I booked a hotel in DC through their site on May 28th, 2021. I found them through Google, and they were the first option that came up. I got a confirmation number and a voucher from them, so I thought everything was good to go.

But, boy was I wrong. When I called the hotel to double-check my reservation, they had no record of it. I was pretty confused, so I reached out to LastMinuteTravel through phone, email, and Facebook, but they never responded. I mean, come on, how unresponsive can you be? It's like they took my money and ran.

I had to take matters into my own hands and report them to Google. Finally, they corresponded with Google, but not with me. They tried to spin a story that the hotel didn't have me in their system because the reservations are based off when the hotel is booked for, not when the reservation was made. I mean, that's just a total lie. They didn't send the reservation in until the day of, and that's just not right.

I had to cancel the fake reservation with their site and threatened a credit card takeback of the reservation payment. My payment was not restored to me, so I had to place a complaint for my money back with my credit card company. I mean, it's just ridiculous that I had to go through all of that.

I really wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They're just scammers who offer prices they cannot back up, take your money, and give you a fake confirmation number. It's just despicable. If I hadn't double-checked my reservation, I would have been left up a creek without a paddle. So, please, stay away from this company. You just can't count on them.

LastMinuteTravel Disappointing Experience with LastMinuteTravel: Reservation Cancelled for No Reason

I recently used LastMinuteTravel to book a hotel on short notice and was pleased to find that they offered the most reasonable price for the hotel I wanted to stay at. I quickly booked the hotel and received a confirmation email in my account. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until the next morning when I received an email stating that my reservation had been cancelled due to a mismatch between the information I provided and the credit card I used. The email also stated that my charges had been fully refunded and that I should contact my bank to verify my information before resubmitting a new reservation.

I was confused by this as I had never had this issue before and my bank confirmed that the transaction was still pending and being processed. I called Last Minute Travel to try and figure out what was going on, but they were unable to provide any additional information other than what was in the email. They did mention that all transactions are subject to verification and may be cancelled due to verification failure.

To avoid this issue in the future, I called the sales number to make sure there would be no issues with my reservation. However, even after speaking with customer service and getting a reservation number, I was told that they could not make the reservation due to the previous issue.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with LastMinuteTravel. It seems like they take your reservations and hope they can fill them after the fact, and if they can't, they cancel for whatever reason they wish to make up. They also do not offer the option to make reservations in person, which makes it easier for them to cancel without reason. I can't help but wonder if they sell your information as that is the only way I can see them making any money.

My suggestion would be to pay the slightly higher price found through Trivago or another reputable site and avoid dealing with LastMinuteTravel altogether. It was a waste of my time and I will never use their services again.

LastMinuteTravel LastMinuteTravel Review: Nightmare Experience with Receipts and Customer Support

I gotta say, my experience with LastMinuteTravel was a total disaster. I booked a hotel for a whole week for my business trip, and I needed to report my expenses to my boss with taxes separated from the rates per night. But when I got to the hotel, I decided to upgrade my room for a mere $10 per night to be closer to the entrance. And that's when the trouble began.

The hotel gave me a receipt that showed all the taxes and rates for that nightly upcharge, but the original receipt from LastMinuteTravel only had a lump sum total. So I contacted their customer support and was transferred to accounting, and they promised to send me a broken-out receipt. But guess what? No receipt.

I tried again and again, and every time they promised to send me a receipt, but it never arrived. It was like they were playing a game with me. I even called the number on the receipt, but I was transferred from one department to another, put on hold, and then disconnected. It was a total nightmare.

Finally, after my ninth call, I got a supervisor who manually calculated my taxes and gave me a receipt. But even then, I wasn't sure if it was accurate. I mean, how can an accounting department not have a system that provides them with a taxes breakout? It's ridiculous.

Overall, my experience with LastMinuteTravel was a total disaster. I spent so much time trying to get a simple receipt, and in the end, I'm not even sure if it's accurate. I wouldn't recommend this website to anyone.

LastMinuteTravel Misleading and Unscrupulous: My Experience with LastMinuteTravel

I recently had an experience with LastMinuteTravel that left me feeling frustrated and misled. I started my search for hotels and flights on booking.com, but before actually booking anything, I received a phone call from an agent named Lucy who retrieved my details from the website. I was happy to speak with someone about my possible booking and clarify things like cancellation and changes to my accommodation. Lucy, who sounded French but was actually based in a call center in Madrid, reassured me that changes could be made to my accommodation and I ended up booking over the phone for flights and a hotel, which I thought was booking.com, but turned out to be handled by lastminute.com.

When I received the email confirmation, I realized that lastminute.com was the provider and not booking.com as I had originally seen. This was a little strange, but everything seemed okay with the booking. However, two weeks later, I called to make a change to the hotel as I had decided to stay in another location and hotel for three nights instead of staying the full 14 nights in one place. To my surprise, I was connected to a call center in India and was told that I couldn't make any changes to my accommodation as it was booked with flights and was a 'package', even though contracts were separate and I didn't want to change any dates.

I was told that changes could be made on the 'my booking' part of their website, but this was a totally useless thing where no changes could be made and no further information was available in regard to cancelling or changing. I called three times and was told that they would be looking into the original call when I made my booking to ascertain what I had been told. I only wanted to change three nights, and this should have been a simple enough request with any other holiday provider, especially as travel was not due until late August. However, I was told that I would lose my deposit if I cancelled now, which was never relayed to me at the point of booking.

The agents were totally useless and were die-hard sellers trying to make commission, and they would tell you what you wanted to hear to make the booking. Nothing had been confirmed with my booking as I had only paid a deposit, and they were waiting for full payment. This to me meant that I could change hotel accommodation if I wanted to. To cut a long story short, I could have booked the flights and hotels separately on the booking.com website and saved money, and I would have been able to make changes if the agent had not called me and convinced me to book both through her.

This experience was misleading and totally unscrupulous of lastminute.com not to advise me of all my options and the issues with booking a 'package', even though we can book these things separately and have more flexibility. I strongly advise against using LastMinuteTravel or booking.com for flight and hotel packages as they will scam you and make it difficult to get your money back. I am now having to dispute the deposit taken with my credit card company for a refund as I was totally mis-sold. It is shocking that this company has a huge presence on the internet and is not taking responsibility for the rogue sellers they employ and for misleading people.

LastMinuteTravel LastMinuteTravel.com Cancelled My Hotel Reservation and Refused to Compensate - A Disappointing Experience

Me and my wife were at LAX airport, excited to start our weekend getaway in Panama City. We had already checked in and passed through airport security, so we decided to use LastMinuteTravel.com to book a hotel in Panama. We saw plenty of hotels available on the day before, so we booked the Hard Rock Hotel Panama Megazlopolis from 06/01 to 06/04 for $360.84 for the three days. We received a Hotel Reservation Confirmation immediately after booking.

However, just before boarding the aircraft, LastMinuteTravel.com sent us another email saying that they cancelled our reservation. We were shocked and upset as we had provided them with the real and accurate credit card and billing information. The money we used was dedicated to be used on that trip for hotel booking and was deposited on a prepaid visa card, so they were holding that money until the refund was appearing back in the account. We were completely bored because we were then boarding and had no hotel booking plus less money to travel because the money which was on the prepaid account was blocked by the credit card company to guarantee their payment to LastMinuteTravel.com. We had to use another credit card and booked another hotel with Expedia which was going through very well as usual.

Following that incident, we arrived in Panama with less money than expected for the weekend so we did not travel a lot during the weekend because a part of our money was blocked for nothing as LastMinuteTravel didn't do a good job. We also called them from Panama spending lots of money for nothing as their customer service didn't take care of what we were saying and told us, you have been refunded with no apologize or help to compensate what was happening. Plus, the person on the phone was rude and didn't explain what happened saying that "if we cancelled, it's possible that we did not receive approval for the payment or information was not accurate" while I was charged and the money was blocked by the bank immediately after the reservation.

I also called the bank and they guaranteed that they gave approval for the transaction with a valid approval code which confirmed my reservation with the online travel agency. I was reviewing plenty of other complaints with LastMinuteTravel.Com as saw that plenty of people complaint with this travel agency, lost of them saying hotel bookings were cancelled, refunds took long time, customer service was not attentive and taking care of customer complaints. That's exactly what was happening also to us.

The charges were appearing on the account as debited on 06/02 only one day after the reservation made throughout their website while the refund appeared into the account only on 06/05 three days later contrary to what they said when sending the cancellation notice via email on the same day of making the reservation. Unfortunately for us, we already came back to LA when we received the refund to the prepaid card, and we spent 3 days there in Panama with less money during our stay as we had to pay twice for the hotel, so we didn't do lots of things due to lack of money. Also, the refund received was not equivalent to the original charges and we received $5 less than what was charged before.

I emailed LastMinuteTravel.Com one time last week, attaching copies of the bank account statement, the detailed credit card charged made with approvals, and a copy of the billing information plus copies of the card used for booking, re-explaining what was happening and telling that I will dispute this issue if they weren't do anything to compensate, and they answered that this issue was due to insufficient funds or the credit card was denied, while money was approved and put on hold on the credit card. They added that they will not do anything to compensate as there were not in fault.

I replied another time and re-explained the situation and the answered that the information was certainly not accurate so they had to cancel the reservation and refund the booking while I already sent them proof that there was no particular issue with both the card, the billing info and the money available in the account which was blocked until charge definitively by the travel agent.

Overall, I will never use their services again. I hope this review will help lots of people!

LastMinuteTravel Avoid LastMinuteTravel: Terrible Experience with Cancellation and False Information

I recently had a terrible experience with LastMinuteTravel. I was looking to book a last-minute flight and stumbled upon their website. At first, everything seemed great. I found a flight that worked for me and went through the booking process. However, things quickly went downhill from there.

When I arrived at the airport, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled. I was shocked and confused. I had received no notification that anything was wrong with my booking. After waiting for several hours, I received an email from LastMinuteTravel stating that my reservation had been cancelled due to a problem with my credit card.

I knew this couldn't be true. I had checked my credit card statement and saw that the small fee that is sometimes sent ahead of the whole transaction had been approved. However, LastMinuteTravel had not sent the full transaction through. This meant that there was never a ticket available in the first place.

I was beyond frustrated. I had wasted time and money traveling to the airport and waiting for a flight that didn't even exist. To make matters worse, LastMinuteTravel had lied to me about the reason for the cancellation.

I strongly advise against using LastMinuteTravel for any travel needs. You shouldn't have to take a chance on your transactions and definitely don't need to be waiting to board a plane that does not have a seat for you. I will never use them again and urge others to do the same.

LastMinuteTravel Disappointing Experience with LastMinuteTravel: Reservation Canceled Without Warning or Explanation

I recently decided to give LastMinuteTravel a try when I needed to book a last-minute flight for a funeral. I was relieved to receive a reservation notification and confirmation, and the price seemed reasonable given the circumstances. However, my experience quickly turned sour when I arrived at the airport and discovered that my information was not in the kiosk system.

I approached a customer service representative, who informed me that my confirmation had been canceled and that there was nothing they could do to help me. I was understandably frustrated and upset, especially given the sensitive nature of my travel plans. I attempted to call the toll-free number provided by LastMinuteTravel, but after going through the prompts, the call mysteriously disconnected.

Undeterred, I went back to the website to find a different number to call. Unfortunately, I encountered the exact same issue and was unable to get through to anyone who could assist me. As a result, I was forced to book a new flight at nearly triple the cost of my original reservation. This was a significant financial burden, and it also meant that I was unable to attend my uncle's funeral.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service provided by LastMinuteTravel. The cancellation of my reservation without any warning or explanation was unacceptable, and the lack of customer support only compounded the problem. I would not recommend this site to anyone looking to book last-minute travel, as the risk of encountering similar issues is simply too high. If I could rate LastMinuteTravel less than one star, I certainly would.

LastMinuteTravel Beware of LastMinuteTravel: Pending Charges and No Booking Confirmation

LastMinuteTravel is not a good website to book hotels online. I tried to book a room on their website using my iPhone a few nights ago. I entered all of my information and clicked to book the room. However, I kept getting an error that my booking didn't go through. So, I decided to book a different hotel through a different site.

A few days later, I checked my credit card balance online and noticed six pending charges for the same amount. I was shocked and tried to dispute the charges with Capital One. They connected us in a 3-way call and after providing them the information for the date I tried to book, they told me that they have no record of a booking under my name. This made sense since I got an error saying that my booking wasn't processed. The charges are still pending on my credit card and I am waiting for them to drop. At this point, they are still pending.

I will definitely not be using LastMinuteTravel again! Beware of this website if you don't want to face any trouble.

LastMinuteTravel Unexpected Charges for Flight Schedule Change - My Experience with LastMinuteTravel

because of the unexpected charges that I received. Last year, I decided to purchase three tickets from LastMinuteTravel for a trip that my family and I were planning. The process of purchasing the tickets was easy and I was able to save a few bucks compared to buying directly from the airline.

However, a few weeks ago, I received an email from LastMinuteTravel stating that my flight schedule had changed and I needed to confirm the changes by responding to the email. I quickly responded without reading the fine print and what I didn't realize was that I was agreeing to a $75 per ticket charge to my card, totaling $225, in addition to the $2,100 that I initially paid for the tickets.

I was shocked and frustrated when I saw the charges on my credit card statement. I felt like I had been scammed and taken advantage of. I understand that flight schedules can change due to unforeseen circumstances, but I didn't expect to be charged such a hefty fee for something that was outside of my control.

If I had purchased my tickets directly from the airline, I wouldn't have been charged a fee for a schedule change that was not my fault. This experience has taught me to be more cautious when purchasing tickets from third-party companies like LastMinuteTravel.

I would advise anyone who is planning to book a flight to save themselves the pain and headache by booking directly from the airline or a reliable company. Don't make the same mistake that I did and end up regretting your decision.

LastMinuteTravel LastMinuteTravel Review: Unreliable and Inconvenient Booking Experience

I recently stumbled upon LastMinuteTravel while searching for a quick getaway. At first glance, the website seemed promising with its attractive deals and discounts. However, my experience with this travel agency was far from satisfactory.

When I had to change my travel plans, I cancelled a reservation within the allowed window and made a new one in a different location. To my dismay, my card was charged for both bookings, and I was not refunded for the cancellation. This left me in a tight spot, especially when I arrived at the second hotel in the middle of an ice storm, only to find out that my card was declined despite the charge already appearing on my statement. Thankfully, I was able to secure a room by paying the hotel directly.

I immediately disputed both charges with my credit card company, but the process has been a hassle. While they did refund the cancellation charge, I am still waiting for a resolution to the messed-up reservation. To make matters worse, I discovered that many other customers have faced similar issues with LastMinuteTravel, which leads me to believe that this is a common occurrence.

I have reached out to Google, urging them to sever their ties with LastMinuteTravel and apologize to customers who trusted their reputation. It is disappointing to see a company that claims to offer last-minute travel deals fail to deliver on its promises and cause inconvenience to its customers.

In conclusion, I would advise anyone considering LastMinuteTravel to think twice before booking with them. The risks of being charged twice, not receiving refunds, and facing declined payments are too high. It is better to opt for a more reliable travel agency that values its customers and provides hassle-free services.

LastMinuteTravel Scam Alert: My Horrific Experience at a LastMinuteTravel Advertised Hotel

I gotta say, I was pretty excited when I saw the room advertised on LastMinuteTravel. It looked like a great deal and I was in need of a place to crash for the night. But boy, was I in for a surprise when I arrived at the hotel.

First of all, the hotel was located up a flight of stairs and the lobby smelled absolutely terrible. I was hesitant to even approach the attendant, but I knew I had to check in. When I handed over my credit card, I couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. The attendant then showed me to my room, which was windowless and had a mattress that took up nearly the entire space. To make matters worse, there were no sheets on the bed and the paint was chipped all along the floor. It looked like there was mold growing in the corners of the room.

I immediately refused to stay there and asked to cancel my reservation. The attendant told me that I would need to call a separate office to process my refund. So, I called LastMinuteTravel to process my cancellation. They told me that they just needed to confirm with the hotel that I did not stay there. However, they were unable to reach anyone at the hotel.

Let me tell you, this hotel is not fit for anyone to stay in. It's the kind of place that's meant for homeless people, drug addicts, or the most desperate backpackers. I did not feel safe there at all and the location was far from hygienic. I would strongly advise against using LastMinuteTravel or booking a room at this hotel. The whole experience felt like a scam and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did.

LastMinuteTravel LastMinuteTravel Review: Frustrating Experience with Cancellation Policy and Customer Service

So, I had a bit of a rough experience with LastMinuteTravel. Unfortunately, my husband tested positive for COVID-19 and we had to cancel our trip. We tried to cancel our hotel reservations before the "non-refundable date," but we ran into some issues. I couldn't access my account on LastMinuteTravel using my email address and the reservation number they provided. I kept getting errors and it was really frustrating.

I tried calling customer service, but the company seems to be based in the UK. I completed a customer service ticket to let them know about my issue, but they told me that they couldn't help me with my problem because they didn't handle that portion of customer service. They told me to seek help on their website, but when I went to the "get help" section, I had to select my country in order to get the right information. Unfortunately, the only countries listed were European countries, so I was out of luck.

I decided to call the hotel directly to cancel, but they informed me that since I booked through a third party (LastMinuteTravel), I had to cancel through them. It was a complete runaround and we ended up losing $202. It was really frustrating and I felt like LastMinuteTravel was a scam.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend LastMinuteTravel based on my experience. It was really difficult to cancel our reservations and we ended up losing money because of it. If you're looking for a reliable travel booking site, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

LastMinuteTravel Terrible Experience with Last Minute Travel: Runaround for Refund and Poor Customer Service

I had a terrible experience with Last Minute Travel. I decided to book a stay at the Crowne Plaza in Dallas through their website. Unfortunately, there were some issues with my stay and the hotel manager said that I wouldn't be charged for it. However, since I booked through Last Minute Travel, I had to contact them for the refund.

I made the request in early February 2021 and it's now almost the end of March. I've been given the run around for weeks and have had to make six phone calls to try to get my refund. The customer service representative, Juan, was not helpful at all. He became aggressive when I asked to speak with his supervisor and claimed that he was the supervisor. Later in the same phone call, he said that his supervisor wasn't taking phone calls.

To make matters worse, Last Minute Travel is located overseas in Spain. I've tried to contact them multiple times but no one will respond. It's incredibly frustrating to try to get my money back from a company that's located in a foreign country.

I would strongly advise against booking through Last Minute Travel. If there's an issue with your stay and the hotel says that you won't be charged, good luck getting your money back from this company. I wish I could give them a zero rating because they've been so unhelpful and unresponsive.

LastMinuteTravel LastMinuteTravel Car Rental Review: Miscommunication and Frustration

I recently decided to book a car rental through LastMinuteTravel (lastminutetravel.com) because I found a great deal and it seemed like the rental was onsite, meaning there would be no need for a shuttle to get to the car. However, when I arrived, I quickly realized that a shuttle was actually needed to get to the car location. My travel companion and I walked to the pick-up station for the shuttle and waited for what felt like a long time, only to realize that we were supposed to call for pickup. We tried calling multiple times, but no one answered and we were forced to leave messages. After waiting for over half an hour, we were finally picked up.

At this point, I was frustrated and ready to cancel my reservation. I spoke with an agent on the phone who offered to cancel the reservation, but it was a little too late for that. She mentioned that the address of the car rental company was listed in the reservation, but I assumed that it was the airport's address since it was listed above that. She spoke to another representative who relayed that we should have taken the Fox shuttle and that we should have received an email saying this. However, we never received any such email. Additionally, the car rental representative told us that there used to be a location at the airport for this car rental company, but that was not true and we should not have taken the Fox shuttle.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with LastMinuteTravel. It seemed like the company had no idea what was going on and there was a lot of miscommunication. I would not recommend using this company in the future.

LastMinuteTravel Disappointing Experience with LastMinuteTravel: Lack of Customer Service and Booking Error

I recently had an experience with LastMinuteTravel that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I was travelling through Florida and needed a hotel in Pensacola for the night. I decided to use LastMinuteTravel to book my room, as I had heard good things about their service.

However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was informed that they couldn't find my booking. After some confusion, the clerk informed me that my booking had been moved to the next night, even though I had specifically booked it for that night. This was a frustrating experience, as I had already paid for the room and was now left without a place to stay for the night.

To make matters worse, I noticed that there was no customer service number on the receipt that LastMinuteTravel had sent me. This made it difficult for me to get in touch with them and resolve the issue. In the end, I had to travel 2 1/2 hours to Defuniak Spring, Fla. and pay another $100 to get a room there.

I was so frustrated with the experience that I decided to file a claim with my bank. Thankfully, they reimbursed me for my payment. However, LastMinuteTravel has now submitted documentation that we used their service, which means that I am having to backtrack and get detailed records of my stays so I can once again dispute them.

One of the most frustrating things about this experience was the lack of customer service from LastMinuteTravel. It was difficult to get in touch with them and resolve the issue, which left me feeling like I was on my own.

In the end, I have decided not to use any booking service and just deal directly with the company from now on. While I appreciate the convenience of online booking services, this experience has shown me that they can be unreliable and difficult to deal with when things go wrong.
