Business Response The customer submitted himself, through the internet, a vacation hold from 06/19/20 and to resume delivery on 06/28/20. This is a total of 9 days Our vacation policy from 2018 is no vacation credit for consecutive days under 29 days. However, we have extended his expiration date from 04/06/21 to 04/15/21 to give him a one-time credit for vacation Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The RJ NEVER informed me of their so called vacation period policy CHANGE prior my request for my vacation hold, only AFTER, when they started billing me. That's a *** lie that I submitted a request through the internet - I PHONED in my request. They keep changing their information. The truth is this goes back to the summer of 2015, when we went way for 31 days, and they informed me that their policy for a temp stop was for 30 days - which they informed me AFTER I returned. What they are talking about 2020 or 2021 I have no idea. And we wonder why newspapers are in the trouble they are in? Business Response Upon further review, I find that subscriber did call in to our voiceport on 06/16/20 and the information taken was a vacation hold from 06/19/20 to begin delivery on 06/28/20. Our vacation policy change did begin on 04/02/2018. While he didn't receive a delivered paper while on vacation hold, he could still access our online version if he wanted. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) The RJ NEVER advised me about their change in Vacation Hold policy. They just instituted it at their wim, then continued to try and elicit additional funds based on their schedule. I say, " nice try on a failing business". We can get along just fine without the rag!

Put my news paper on vacation hold for twenty days was still charged for the paper,! Called and talked to a representative !was told no refund ! Put my paper on vacation hold for 20 days! Was still charged for the paper ! Was told by a review journal representative that they do not refund vacation holds as you can read the paper on the internet!so apparently you are charged that way as well!i was in *** and my paper was delivered the first dat anyway call talked to a representative and he said he put out another reminder!he said don't worry mr. you will not be charged!

Business Response Since 2018, we no longer give a vacation credit for under 28 days consecutively. However, for customer satisfaction, we have given him a one time only credit for 18 days. His newspaper expiration date has now been changed from 08/04/20 to 08/22/20. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

I called to put my subc.in my email, like before, its at least 15Xs and almost 3 months in waiting, to the extend of writing the Editor, ignored. help Don't know how to get them to do what they promised, they supposedly will email my digital paper daily , like before . Been 3 months waiting,at least 15x phone calls, wrote the Editor, ignored. OR even you email their staff for help in reference to his article (Bailey), ignored . We don't a choice since its the only paper in Town, its a lousy news provider and now the service is s - - t. I hope Sun can come up with their own. I have better things to do than call them with a long wait... the recording said this call is monitored, then they can check .. Its hard for me to Call, coz I'm hard of hearing Please help !

Business Response Ana from our subscriber customer service dept. had been emailing *** in 09/2020 with instructions on how to access our digital newspaper. She also advised him to call 702/XXX-XXXX if he continued to have problems. Ana tried again to call *** on 01/14/21 but received the msg. "the wireless caller that you are calling is not available". And she again sent him another email, asking him to call her. She also set him up to get the paper delivered in the meantime. I will send copies of these email separately. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Tnx for the follow-up. 1.0) Re-Email 01.14.21 - They informed us that one of the lousy team member will contact us ... to date, NONE 2.0 ) Paper Delivery ... None LIES ! 3.0 ) Re-Phone call, our phone is always working, lies, no record of calls 4.0 ) Why till NOW NO digital PRINT.. they did not address... WHY ? incidentally, we did the instruction by ourselves and seek help while talking to a REP, still S_ _ T ! The ONLY Problem is WHY can't they set it up digitally, like before... Its as simple as this, It's just pure inefficiency on their part, IT';s been months ! Business Response I believe there has been a misunderstanding. Last Nov. 2020 she unsubscribed to our E-Notify (email) so she had not been getting these emails. However, since she does receive the SU paper delivery, she still does have access to our E-Edition of the RJ 24/7. Our customer service rep, Ana at 702/XXX-XXXX has been calling the number we have on the account, 702/XXX-XXXX but has been unable to leave a message and no one has answered the phone. Ana has also continued to email her at: ***@***.com with no response. As a courtesy, we have reset her to receive the notification emails (even though she had unsubscribed last Nov). She should go on to mylvrj.com to get access to the RJ edition. If she is unable to sign on, please have her call Ana at 702/XXX-XXXX for help with the password. The only way to resolve this if she can't access the RJ edition now, is to ask her to call Ana for help. We really do want our subscriber to be satisfied, but it may take a phone call to fix. And perhaps she could check her spam box for previous email notifications?

paid service not provided Approximately January 28, i signed up for the weekly Sunday newspaper from the Las Vegas Review Journal. I received my first and only Sunday paper on super bowl Sunday February 2,2020. I have made numerous phone calls to customer service and have spoken to the supervisor about this issue. The supervisor informed me that a district manger would call me back to discuss this issue, in addition i was told that a supervisor would be monitoring the delivery of my paper. I have reported a delivery issue on my account numerous times with no return communication from the Las Vegas Review Journal. I have not received any return phone calls regarding this matter. When i call i just get apologies but no corrective action. Customer service did offer to extend my contract through November . But i still have not received a Sunday paper since February 2. Iv'e also requested a refund but have not received it yet. At this time i do not feel confident that a resolution will be resolved and hence why i am reporting this is issue for poor business rapport. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
