Nice to look at, but never rely on GIS data to determine land boundary lines! I’m a land surveyor in Alaska and even though this app is very useful for REFERENCE, I would never recommend it to replace a licensed land surveyor to locate boundary lines. In my area, the GIS data can be off as much as 50 feet, couple that with the GPS accuracy of your phone being probably 25 feet, well you can see where this is going. I have read a few reviews saying that they are using this app to locate land boundary lines, but they are potentially setting themselves up for a day in court.

I am a Land Survey Crew Chief, sometimes I do expand my search for property corners. Sometimes there is an emergency job, info is not available to me at the moment, and this app resolved my emergency needs at the time. I just need to see the parcel shape. Then I do what I do, and try to find the corners as I see fit, between the app, and looking for occupation lines.
Sometimes you can see some property lines that are off. But definitely it helped me out the most looking for sectional corners (I am in Florida) that are not Certified, by just looking at the map and getting me close to the area. 4 solid stars. Thanks!

I really want to give this a five star rating because this app is incredibly useful. However my county parcel information is so far behind. The county does update every parcel quarterly or at least once a year.

The developer claims they update all of the counties at least once a year. Currently this app is 2+ years behind in my county. I know the county has the correct information.

They have told me they update quarterly or yearly. Both of those statements in my experience are a lie. I would be happy to pay the already high monthly fee if they would simply do what they advertise or state they will do.

If they don’t update my county by the end of the month I will no longer pay for this. I hope others will do the same.

The idea of this app is slick, I like the scrolling feature and instant info. But the execution is subpar. Look, I see I’m not the only person recognizing this problem either. There are people all across the US reporting this same problem. For the record I’m in Ohio. What’s happening is owner info is WAY outdated like years. The developer responds and says where are you we’ll update your area. Well dude the information in the app is unreliable the only reason we know it’s outdated is because we aren’t taking your word for it and cross referencing what we already know about the area. I’m not paying to have to ask you to update my area every time I go to use this app.

The developer needs to step their game up here especially because this is only available as a PAID subscription. It is NOT worth my money. Sorry. I’ll just go check the old fashioned way for free. County auditor webpage.

(This is a little complicated so read slowly)

My great uncle Who died 7 years ago apparently still owned the land he gave to his brother (my grandfather) and somehow the land my grandfather lives on. Also about 20 years ago my grandfather sold some of his land to my dad to build a house on, but apparently to the app he still owned all of that. And also all the land that is right is all 20 to 30 feet off.

I used to use it for driving for dollars until about 2 months ago when I started noticing that the vast majority of the addresses were incorrect. It is only useful if the home is owner occupied as I can use the mailing address to go off of (even though it’s very tedious and I tend not to because there’s a good chance that it’s not and I’m probably wasting my time.) I’m in Texas but it might just be my area.

When you get the app, it says “in app purchases” which should mean that there’s some aspect of the app you can use for free but the first time you load the app, it asks if you want to use your free 7 day trial and that’s the only option which means after 7 days you can’t use the app without paying for something. I can’t rate the app for how it works because I didn’t bother. This review is based on the principle.

The first couple years I had it everything was great and very accurate. Now it’s not even close. I can walk up to my property corner and it jumps 20’ away from it. All my saved pins from last year it won’t get me close to them now. My buddy just got the app last month (after I bragged how good it was) and he has the same problem. I tried restarting my phone multiple times and looking on line but can’t find out how to fix it.

We have owned our property for over 9 years but on this app it is still listed under previous owner which caused a huge argument with a logger who is wanting to “clean up” our property after a tornado. To all you loggers out there using this app, don’t put all of your faith in it for every property. Before you get stupid with a resident of the land you want to take trees from, maybe check the deed at the tax assessors office first!

Although, I was skeptical, I downloaded this app because all fingers pointed to it as being most accurate for showing property lines. I have a survey that was done in November, 1972 for the builder of my home so I know by looking at this and comparing it to this app that the app is not accurate at all. It would mean that I own my neighbors driveway and my neighbor would own part of my driveway and garage. I deleted it from my phone.

I got recommended this app by a colleague and found it to be extremely easy to use and very handy. My uses for the app are very sparse but also used it as a fun time killer of my curiosity. The reason for the one star is that I was just about to recommend the app to everyone when all of a sudden I got locked out. Never did I see any “trial version” or “limited time use”. LandGlide could really benefit from a light version w banner adds etc.

I think the app is junk! It shows incorrect data. And don’t bother to try to get them to correct it. Not going to happen.
The guy I bought the property from is shown living on the property I purchased from him. In no house. And I am shown living on his property in his house. Tried twice to get them to fix it and they say it can’t be fixed. JUNK APP!

I wish to cancel my subscription. I found it to be highly inaccurate. I stood directly above the surveyors pin, dropped a pin and lined it up with the surveyors pin and then when I switched to map and stood in the same place it showed me about 30 feet away. I took a screen shot of this discrepancy and would be glad to send it to you. The same thing happened when I walked down the property line. It showed my actual position on someone there less property even though I was on my line. Thank you.

So I live in Lincoln CA 95648 in Placer county out in the country and also a real estate agent and sell A LOT of country properties and heard about app from my septic contractor. I know where a few of my monuments are marked from survey and the app is horribly off as I just checked walking the property. I just downloaded and wanted to check and not sure how can be remedied and thought would alert you. Sorry for the one star but since I know where monuments are can see app is completely wrong since I paid for survey and have monuments set.

I have used this app for 3 years and it is very helpful, but now it doesn’t work as it did before and it is way less useful.

1) I noticed the 'owner name' that is displayed is not the actual owner of the parcel/land, but instead the owner of a business entity (tenant) located at the property's address. I have tried to change the display in the settings but it does not let me go back to the old setting. For example, instead of showing an owner of the land, it will display the the owner of the existing tenant/business on the land.

Please fix!

Great concept for looking at property records without needing to pull up the country database program. Unfortunately the app is using very old data that is at least 2 years out of date.

Update: Received a reply from developer who says they update their DB at least once a year and then provided me a link to purchase more updated database for my county for the app. This app cost $100 which is really high and they want me to pay $150 more to have data current database just for one small county in my state. Will be dropping the app and changing my rating to a 1 Star.
