Unfortunately, my experience with LaLa Mira was one that leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. I made the decision to order a dress from their website, lalamira.com, and it was a decision that I soon came to regret.

The dress that I received looked drastically different from the pictures that I had seen on the website. While I understand that there will be some variation in the final product, the differences were unbelievable. I showed the dress to multiple people, who all thought that the wrong dress had been sent to me.

I reached out to LaLa Mira's customer service team and even provided pictures to reinforce my concerns, as requested. Unfortunately, they refused to issue me a refund even though their return policy does not state that you cannot return an item for unsatisfactory reasons.

What made matters worse was the response that I received from their customer service representative. It was rudeness personified and I was told that I lacked common sense for not knowing that the dress would look different. I couldn't believe what I was reading, as it went completely against what is posted on their website about "earning trust with exceptional service". My experience couldn't have been further from exceptional.

I strongly feel that LaLa Mira should be investigated and held accountable for their actions. It's not fair that they are able to treat their customers so poorly and get away with it. I hope that other customers will take heed of my warning and opt to shop elsewhere.

If you are in the market for a dress for a special event or any occasion, stay well away from LaLa Mira. My own personal experience with this company was a complete nightmare. I ordered a stunning burgundy dress for $166, but when the dress arrived, it was actually red. Despite my complaints and attempts to return or exchange the dress, LaLa Mira refused to listen to me unless I sent them a photograph of the dress. Even after seeing the dress in a photo, they still refused to allow me to return it, claiming that they had not made an error in the color.

To make matters worse, LaLa Mira had originally suggested that I view another dress in burgundy as they claimed the color table for the dress I wanted was not working, and ensured me that the dress would arrive in the exact same color as the one I had chosen. However, the dress that I received was not even close to burgundy, it was an entirely different shade altogether. Not only was the color off, but the material was cheap and not worth anywhere near the price I paid for it.

If you have also been ripped off by LaLa Mira, I strongly recommend banding together with others and taking legal action against this company. Their faulty website and lack of customer service has left many of us out of pocket and with nothing to show for it. Stay away from LaLa Mira at all costs.

I recently made a purchase from LaLa Mira for a mother of the bride dress to wear to my son's wedding. Unfortunately, my experience with this online retailer left much to be desired. Despite knowing that alterations would be necessary upon receiving the dress, I was extremely disappointed to find that the overall design was incredibly flawed. I highly advise against purchasing from LaLa Mira. They are falsely advertising their return policy and selling poorly made products. Do not waste your time or money with this company.

Despite the waist fitting perfectly, the bust was an inch too small, and the hips were a disappointing inch and a half too wide.

Moreover, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of workmanship on the dress. The sewing of the beads and jewels was poorly done; it was evident that the "seamstress" had not taken the necessary care and attention to detail. I was thoroughly disappointed to see that the thread between the beads had not been snipped, which meant that if I pulled one off, the rest would unravel as well.

I immediately contacted the website to initiate a return, but unfortunately, my requests were repeatedly denied. Eventually, I resorted to filing a claim with PayPal. At this point, LalaMira offered me a 40% refund to keep the dress, which I refused. They then provided me with an address to return the dress to, and promised a refund once they received the garment. However, I had to pay $35 to send the dress back to China, and subsequently send the appropriate information to PayPal.

Unfortunately, the shipping process took longer than anticipated and PayPal had to intervene. I provided them with the shipping information, and they ultimately refunded my payment. However, my ordeal with LalaMira did not end there. Five months later, I received the dress back as "return to sender." The recipient at the address that I had been provided with either did not exist, or they refused to accept the package.

Overall, my experience with LalaMira has been less than stellar. The inaccurate sizing, substandard workmanship, and unhelpful customer service have in no way endeared me to this website. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before doing business with them.

In fact, I have provided two pictures to illustrate just how different the dress I received was from what I had ordered. The amount of loose strings was truly ridiculous and attempting to trim them only made the stitching even worse. Needless to say, the quality of the dress was quite poor.

Despite paying extra for a custom fit and sending my exact measurements, the dress arrived made for someone much taller and with armholes that were four inches too big. I also specifically asked about the color and material of the dress, only to find they were not as advertised. The company claimed that the satin would be "very smooth" and have a dull side, as depicted on their website, but this was not the case. The dress was also much heavier than I expected due to three layers on the bottom.

Worse still, the company was unhelpful and dismissive when I tried to initiate a return. I had to repeatedly email them, only to be met with the suggestion that I had simply ordered the wrong size. After all that, I am currently attempting to get a refund through PayPal, but the return shipping alone cost me $62.95.

All in all, I cannot recommend LaLa Mira. The dress I received was clearly not made with the promised quality or fit, and the company's customer service was subpar. Don't be like me and waste your hard-earned money on this company.
