I went to Lakewood Happy Motors and they totally ripped me off! They charged me 500 bucks for work they didn't even do, and on top of that, they sold me a car with way more miles than they said it had. I paid 5000 dollars for it and it had almost 100,000 miles when they said it had around 80,000. Don't trust these guys, they're a total scam!

My boy, who just turned 18 and graduated in 2020, got a 2013 *** from Happy Motors in June. Christina said it was a good car, but she was in a hurry to leave when we did the paperwork. Only 6 days later, the car broke down. We called Happy Motors, and they said they could check it out and maybe fix it, but we had to pay. Plus, their mechanics aren't certified. It's so sad that my son's $3000 and graduation money went to a bad car they won't fix. I think they took advantage of him. 2020 was already a bad year for him, and now his first car is gone after just a week.

I bought a Jeep from Happy Motors and financed it for $1500. During the test drive, the car was swaying left and right. The sales rep told me to give it a little gas and the car pulled to the left pretty hard. I made a comment about it, but was told there were no issues outside of the lift kit. The first week I had the car, it went into a death wobble on the freeway and traumatized my 13 year old. I took it to Happy Motors and they changed out two ball joints and did something with the steering. My spouse picked up the car and it was still swaying. I informed Happy Motors and was told to take it to Lakewood Alignment. Happy Motors wanted to end my contract due to the repairs being too much. I battled with them for a month and got a full refund of $2100. Happy Motors shouldn't have sold me a car with so many problems and then refused to put me into another vehicle.

Got a *** f 250 from Lakewood Happy Motors on Nov 25th. Told the sales guy we need it for hauling a trailer and we gotta go back to *** for work the next day. But on our way back, the truck was slow and not picking up speed. Stopped for gas and heard a loud pop after 2 hours. We were stranded on the highway and had to pay a mobile mechanic $808.82 to fix the spark plug that stripped the threads and blew the coil pack. Dealer won't help us with any of the repair costs. We just want half of it back since we lost work and money.

I bought a *** CRV from Happy Motors on 04/07/2022. I paid them $3600 and they said they would give me a car fax, but I never got it. They also said the car had no leaks or starting issues, and I could return it in 3 days if I wasn't satisfied. But on 04/08/22, the car wouldn't start. I called the dealership and they towed it back, but when I told a manager I wanted my money back, he refused. He said they would try to fix it and only give me another car if they couldn't fix it. But I wasn't satisfied and wanted a refund. He threatened to keep my money and the car. They put in cheap spark plugs that don't even go to the car so it would start, which could cause further damage. When they gave me the car back, it was close to their closing hours. I drove it home and it was sputtering and almost died a couple of times. I took it to my trusted mechanic at Christian *** and had to spend $2,279.40 in repairs. They didn't even respect the 3 day law for buying used cars. My rights were violated. I have two resolutions I'm willing to take. 1) To consider the car paid for, and give me the ***. Or 2) Deduct the amount I put into the maintenance of the car from the amount I still owe. The first option is the one I really would like considering laws were violated.
