My wife financed a gmc acadia from this byrider and even though the salespeople were cool. I'll list the issues this way...
1-A/C compressor was bad, they held it a week to fix it.
2- hub bearing (driver side rear) was bad, held it 3 days to fix it.
3- Engine blew. They kept the vehicle for a month to replace it.
4- transmission blew, they held it nearly 6 weeks to fix it
5- Accelerator sensor went bad. They kept it a week to fix that.
6- Transfer case and transmission blew. They kept it almost 5 weeks to fix. they said alternator wasn't adequately charging the battery (not under warranty) I told them it's not the alternator itself, it's the battery junction wire that's corroded. They basically told me I don't know what I'm talking about and a machine showed them the alternator is bad. I let them replace the alternator.
7- hub bearing (passenger side rear) was bad, they held it 2 days to fix it
A few months went by and...
8- transmission went bad again. They held it for a month to fix it.
Now we live in texas. The acadia has just been sitting in front of our house. The wiring to the alternator has corroded to the extent of the vehicle having no power at all. Also, the A/C compressor is bad again. Thousands of dollars and 2 years of headaches...
Desired outcome: My wife should be reimbursed some of her money for this.
