J&A Trading Corporation and the Japanese Car Trade review: False vehicle sale and failure to refund 1

I identified a vehicle on the Japanese Car Trade website, which I was to purchase from the J & A Trading Corporation. The seller sent me the proforma invoice and requested me to make the payment of 5,000USD as deposit for the unit and I was to pay the balance before shipping. After making the payment I was given a tentative shipping date of 17th May 2022. When the date was approaching, the seller started giving me different stories such as the shipping vessel was full and that I have to wait until the end of May for the shipping. When I probed further, I learnt from him that all along the vehicle had already been sold to another client. I demanded for a refund of my deposit of 5,000 USD and the international transfer charges of 20 USD for being dishonestly misled to pay for a vehicle that was already sold. On 10th May 2022, I was assured that I would be refunded the 5,020 USD immediately. I have raised complaints against J&A with Japanese Car Trade. They have not been helpful despite hosting this seller on tehri website. The company has failed to refund my money despite numerous assurances.
