My son's passport is about to expire - 4 months actually.

We can't fly out without a renewed passport.

So, I emailed the embassy to get an urgent slot as they only have space for March 2023!

They answered they don't have urgent spaces.

I emailed saying my son has autism and he needs to be prioritized.

No answers.

I called today 07/12/2022 and the attendant was very rude and unpolite and shouted at me I need to still try on their system. Frist once you have an appointment you can't do a new one. Second I start to explain his disability and the person (male) laughed saying why he should skype the regular quill. He should not travel at all.

And they weren't given any special treatment for him because he has nothing he can wait for. If you miss the travel you will miss the travel it's not an Embassy problem it's your problem.

I was shocked, he did not give me his name and asked me to email how many times I want to when I mentioned I was going to be there in person, he answered you are not going in if you don't have an appointment. So you will be outside on street.

That's how the Italian Embassy treats the special needs people in Ireland.

I can't say how wrong it was.

Hope I will get same attention for the kids with special needs the next time.

Let's see
