This app works great on my iPhone5. It has everything I need such as formulas, sizable columns, color coding, number formatting, and multiple workbooks all available online or offline.

Unlike google docs, you do not have network failure issues whenever you are roaming around. It is easy enough to save as and share/email your sheets when you need.

I purchased iSpreadsheet for my iPad because the description indicated it would open .xls spreadsheets. I could not get it to do so and reported the issue to Savy Soda. My issue was acknowledged with a report number but that was the end of it. I asked for an update on my inquiry and have been ignored ever since. That was 3 weeks ago. Done with Savy Soda.

I'd give 5 stars instead of 2 for not being aware of the $3 pay version needed to complete my project after being more than half way into my project with the free version when it stopped and I had to figure why and to find it would cost $3 to finish my project. Actually this app is no easier to use or has no more functions than any of others free versions.

This formula, =2^(((A2-5.5)/13.5)-A2^2/5800)/20, ONLY works properly with NEGATIVE numbers! Once the referenced cell (A2) has a POSITIVE value of 0.000 or above, the result is INVALID.

Also, how come a column can't be filled with integers with a given increment step, and how come a formula column can't be replicated? Why does each cell have to be entered manually?

I think I just wasted $3 on this app. I was able to open a spreadsheet for an order form I made, it looks beautiful in the app but that’s about it. Aren’t I supposed to be able to edit or at least enter data into my spreadsheet? What’s the point? That seems to be a basic function and use for this app or am I missing something. I clicked on online help and got an error message. Sorry now you get 1 star.

I bought this app, storing my sheets on my iPad. The latest Apple OS update now results when I try to open the app in a message saying the creator must update the app. They’ve tried but none of those changes have allowed me to recover my data. I even bought the Office version. It didn’t help. I’ve written their support, but now they only respond with an automated message. I would have thought they owed paying customers more.

I was in position while on a trip. I needed to come up with a quick Spears sheet to show some numbers with cost of sales and profit margin. Ispeadsheet came through for me. Once you’ve learned. How to you it it’s simple and easy to use. I’ve continued using it for others that need to maintain rates and hours worked. Works just fine. I also can move it and print when I need to. As they continue to update the app just gets better.

The spreadsheet seems to work alright for an inexpensive phone based spreadsheet. I went to the creator’s website to look for a users manual and did not find one. I am not talking about how to work a spreadsheet, I am talking about how to highlight cells, how to copy one cell to several other cells, how to add a row, how to delete a row, etc. This would have reduced my frustration significantly and would have increased my rating.

This app is a total failure. I was using the free version with no problem, but after finishing a spreadsheet yesterday it wouldn't let me Save. Kept popping up ads instead. Finally I gave in and bought the paid version. BUT - it wouldn't let me move my spreadsheet into it! I had to rebuild it. THEN - last straw - when I saved it and reopened it, all the formatting was gone!

Those "positive reviews" are baffling. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS APP!

This is supposed to upload to one drive, but it fails every time I try. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled... nothing. Absolutely no support from savysoda. And this is for the paid version. App is easy to use, but doesn’t do what it says it does.

Update. I can upload to one drive now, but I have to do it one spreadsheet at a time. I can’t upload files or multiple spreadsheets at once. Very slow process. Program still crashes after upload, even if successful.

I downloaded the free app and was skeptical because I couldn’t EDIT Excel spreadsheets, only VIEW them.
So, I purchased the app expecting to be able to EDIT my previously created “simple” Excel spreadsheet. That doesn’t seem like too much to ask, right?
WRONG!
I could NOT edit a previously saved Excel spreadsheet. What’s the point of this app? There’s plenty of FREE apps out the that will VIEW spreadsheets. Even Microsoft Excel is free to download and view spreadsheets.
A complete WASTE of $3.00

First, the difference between the upgrade and the original is no disclosed until purchased. The difference is not worth mentioning. Second, now that I have the upgrade I find it most impossible to transfer my existing files to the upgrade. Third, formatting a column of cells is impossible, especially if you want $00,000.00. Just a simple spread sheet is all I ask for. Printing is unknown, there is probably a way but with your poor instructions I will just junk the app. I do not intend to spend more than 4 or 5 hours trying to figure it out.

I downloaded the free version which worked as Read Only on my Iphone5. This being the Paid Version, I expected to be able to make an entry into a spreadsheet. Just like the free version, this turned out to be a Read Only program. I'm using Iphoneversion 9.3.1 So beware.
I'm assuming that some of the 5 star reviewers got lucky and were able to make one or more entries into the formula box on their spreadsheet(s), or Cells. At least you got something for your money.

I'm glad that I only lost $2.95.

From now on, if a free app doesn't work, I will never purchase a paid app from the same developer.
It's unfortunate, that there is no review board to make sure these Apps work on an Iphone or whatever device advertised before a purchase may be made.

The free version and the paid version are not the same, with features unlocked as you'd expect. The paid version has apparently never been updated for larger iPads. The free version looks great and is easy to use. I upgraded to the paid version and now the interface is oversized and clunky. It's acting as if my iPad was an iPhone, with oversized fonts, blurry oversized graphics and a comically huge keyboard that is hard to type on. It makes the spreadsheet larger too, and there's no zoom function that I can find, so now it's just harder to use.

To top it all off, the developer's website is offline, so I can't look up troubleshooting info. I should have done more research before buying. Save yourself the trouble and get a spreadsheet app that's still being actively developed.

I have wanted a very simple, yet functional spreadsheet app to use on my smartphone. I’ve tried excel, numbers,...but didn’t really like them for smartphones. I love excel on a pc, but it was not great on the phone. This app doesn’t have all the bells and whistles...and I like that. It is simply what I need to do basic formulas and I have created my family budget on it easily. After creating one spread sheet with the app, you will most likely get the hang of things. The only thing you’ll need to do is to look online about how to use formulas if you are not familiar with them. I quickly purchased the version without adds, although the free version’s add are not annoying. Whenever I find an app I really like, I am happy to support it. Many thanks to the makers of this app! You have made me very h-app-y!

I just started using iSpreadsheet. I was looking for excel (old school windows - dawn of the dinosaurs) but the price tag kept me with pen and paper. This is super simple to use. It took me a bit to figure out the buttons and bells, but I’m one of THOSE that came into the technical world being dragged kicking and screaming. It’s kinda like “Osh-Koh” the kid/children’s clothing, just match the pictures and then you have an outfit that matches. I truly was surprised by how simple and easy it is to use, with some great spreadsheet functionality going on. I told my geek guru friend about it, who offered to help, they where impressed, (saying a lot) that it was perfect for me, but also put together well enough for someone (geek guru friend) needing a quick put together for something. I would and have recommended this app.

Deceptive advertising. Must be upgraded to be useful. Paid $3 and can't retrieve passcode to enable app. I want my money back

1. You are paying for advertisement, when you are using it. ADDS everywhere. This is a paid software.
2. I can not open excel sheets.

I’ve used the app for a year then decided to pay for the upgrade and now I can’t even load it. Keeps kicking me out. What a waste of money.

Sometimes when i save i get error message; when i reopen formats are gone. So i bought an upgrade to no avail. I'm done using this app deleted it.

I should have stuck with the free version. This crashes, has very little "spreadsheet" ability, and it's clunky to load data. Totally disappointed and very unimpressed. Not worth the $.

I had the program deleted before I even opened the email confirming the purchase. Would love my 3$ back. First time I have ever stopped to write a negative review...I feel that strongly.

The new upgrade will not access your old files nor will it open password protected files once you reload the the files from a backup. There is absolutely no support or useful information to help clients.

This being paid version, you would think it would be usable. You know, maybe to edit a spreadsheet you were working on elsewhere. Save your money, and find a different program. Like I'm going to do right now.

I just upgraded for a fee and there is NOT ONE SINGLE THING that is different from the free version.

Even if it is just $2.99, that adds up to a lot of money for them when lots of people upgrade.

Rip-off, or programming error.

I started using the free app and it did very basic spreadsheet functions. I upgraded and see no difference from what I had before. If there is a trick to seeing functions like sorting, I can’t find them. The 2 stars are for the upgrade.

I bought the ad free version. I want to sort a column. I press support button and I get an error saying it is not available how do you go about sorting a column in the spreadsheet?
I cannot find any documentation as to how you go about using this spreadsheet

This app does not import Excel spreadsheets - it imports the values and formats in an Excel workbook and leaves the formula behind. If you want to have something that will calculate a cell value, you'll need to create it from scratch on the phone. Very disappointing and misleading.

Just like their Documents app, this app crashes constantly and doesn't save my work. Also, sometimes it will save portions of my work and not things like design (bold/color-filled lines, column widths, etc.) so that I constantly need to reformat. And, the password feature doesn't work.

Got the free. The. Got the paid version but it doesn’t work. It freezes up and the only way I can add any data is fill a box, save it, reopen it. It also keeps trying to sell me an ad fee versio. Which is what I thought I got when I paid, or it tries to sell me other spreadsheet programs. I am very disappointed.

This is very basic spreadsheet app. *** It CAN NOT import or export fully functional spread sheets
It can only import and export cvs files. Because of this you lose all formatting. If you import a xls file it converts it to a document that is not a spreadsheet. This is major oversight and greatly limits it's usability.

I had been using the program to record purchases like a checkbook balance sheet. It had simple equations like =sum(b2:b30)+sum(c2:c30)
The formula was correct but the apps math was not. I double checked two different methods Using the same data and same formulas Microsoft excel and a calculator. This program does not properly add or subtract.
