On Decmeber 1, 2025, I noticed I received a notice that said,
"PLEASE CALL IMMEDIATELY AS THIS WILL BE OUR FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 888-965-2251. This was the first notice I received at all.
Nothing in the notice stated it was from Integrity Admin Group.
I called the number and spoke to a male. He tried to quick sell me a warranty insurance program about which I had no knowledge. He tried to explain it again. He said if I was over 55 I would get a discount. He said he was having trouble with his computer so he transferred me to a Cynthia whose extension is 220. She said i was entitled to a Heros of America discount and senior discount. She said I needed to pay $75.00. She said if I decided I did not want the insurance, I would be credited back the $75.00. I gave her my credit card number. Immediately, I received a fraud alert notification that my account was charged $189.00. I immediately called Cynthia back. I told her it was supposed to be $75.00 and yet it was 189.00. She told me to wait and she would check. After being on hold for an extended period of time, I called my credit card company. They told me that the $189.00 was declined. Then the $75.00 was declined. Then $75.00 was approved. I canceled my credit card and will be receiving a new one. I asked Cynthia during my conversation whether this was a scam. Of course, she said it was not. I now know it was because she tried to charge me $189.00. Now I don't want anything to do with this company. The company will not be able to credit the $75.00 to my credit card because I closed it. A check should be mailed to me in the amount of $75.00.
Claimed loss: 75.00 - However, there was an attempt to get $189.00.
Desired outcome: Please refund. I would also appreciate a response. This is a disturbing practice.
