iBits Internet review: Internet ISP Company Paarl

We live on a farm and are limited with our ISP company choices.

Signed up and have never had the speeds we pay for

The company told us initially was because we used WIFI in our house and were not directly wired into the router and this is what caused the drop in speeds.

So I spent over R15,000 upgrading our system so that all devices are wired in at all times.

This did not change our connectivity and we continued to complain about the speeds and continual line drop that we experience throughout the day and night.

Next they decided to blame the fact that we use a VPN service for the poor line speeds but we conducted speed tests with and without the VPN service and there was no difference in the speeds we attained.

iBits did not believe this and continued to blame us for their connectivity issues!

After dozens of complaints they sent their team out to test the lines and their technical team were shown that they were wrong all along.

The connection was fine literally for an hour or so and then the issues persisted again.

After the last complaints we made I received an email back from their director and CTO telling me that they would no longer entertain or attend to complaint tickets that we log with their company and that if we didnt like the service then we need not use them!

So basically he was saying that they were not going to fix the issue and if we didnt like it then we should find another company.

iBits have been in breach of contract for well over two years, and after being proven by their own technical crew that their lines are not stable and we do not get the speeds we pay for they basically tell us that they are not going to assist us any more.
