I purchased the Huawei Watch Buds on June 15, 2023, from Noon Egypt.
Shortly after the 12-month warranty expired, the watch completely stopped charging and became unusable.
I contacted Huawei’s customer service in Egypt and was shocked by their response:
• They refused to repair the device, claiming the cost of the spare part exceeds the price of a brand-new watch.
• No reasonable solution or compensation was offered.
• Customer service representatives were unhelpful and unprofessional.
• My follow-up emails to local and global support were ignored.
This experience clearly shows that Huawei does not care about customer satisfaction, nor does it provide reliable after-sales service—especially in the Egyptian market. According to Egyptian Consumer Protection Law, spare parts and repair services should still be available if the device is within its expected lifetime, regardless of warranty expiration.
Recommendation: I do not recommend buying this watch or relying on Huawei’s support in general. Very disappointing for a global brand.
