Hotpoint review: Fitters

Had a dishwasher installed on the 10th April 2026.
The dishwasher was installed, but they turned off the water supply to my Hot water tap.
Didn't realise this till I came to use it the next morning and found no water coming out.
Found the water supply valve, turned it back on to find all the pipes were leaking and the pipe that supplies the hot water, was split.
Had to call on a friend that does plumbing, but couldn't get till Monday 13th April, he fixed all the leaks.
This morning tried the hot water tap to find the water cold and not hot, spoke to the plumber, said he thinks that because this had been left on for over 2 days that the element has probably burnt out and lucky that it didn't catch fire.
