Recently I took a ride with Hopp part of bolt and I had a terrible experience.
The driver was late to pick me up , I was waiting outside in the cold for him !
He went to the wrong place and blamed it on Hopp in giving him the wrong address, even though i gave him my address twice in the chat and by phone twice ! When he arrived I noticed a notification of a late fee charge which I questioned the driver and asked him to contact Hopp to refund this charge as I was not late. He refused.
So I said I will
Report this myself and I started to write a complaint and he was telling me not to do that as he would get into trouble etc and then he said he will give me $2 or else he will loose his job. He continued with this rambling at st which point he offered $5 but I told him this was a bribe and I have no intention of taking his job money but I wanted a refund from the company as they were charging me !
I was concerned about my safety and although Hopp in their chat said do you want us to call you I was still in the car with this driver so I asked them to call me in 15 minutes to allow me to be safe away from this driver because he still badgering me into accepting his money even after he dropped me off ! To be honest I was scared and sadly Hopp chat person didn’t call me only sent a chat message which is not what they said they would do!
So not only had I this issue to deal with, but also I found out that besides the late fee charges of .44 cents per minutes which were unjustified, Hopp also added additional charges to my credit card account without any notification of these charges which again are unjustified! I contacted them about these, the Kate charges and compensation and still no finalization of the refund of the charges or compensation except the late charge payments! So this issue is still on going!
I read reviews about this company since this incident and surprisingly many other customers have companies of additional
Charges on their account after they take the ride .. so be aware I want full refund of the extra charges made to my credit card and compensation and an apology from Hopp for providing this kind of derive !
