My department took photos with Heritage Portraits and Albums starting on September 25, 2023.

On the day of the photo shoot, the representative who took my payment information told me that my photos/yearbook would be delivered prior to Christmas, as this was meant to be a Christmas present. In addition, she told me that I would need to purchase a yearbook, as my department had not purchased these for us (incorrect information.)

It’s now, January 10, 2024, and I have had zero products delivered. I called the company who stated that they do not provide refunds and were unwilling to work with me. The representative from the company who was helping me stated that he would call me back within 15 minutes after speaking with a manager and it has now been over 2 hours, and he is no longer picking up his phone.

This is in spite of documentation on their flyer that stated “Print orders will be shipped within 4 weeks following photo sessions.“

To not offer a refund and to hold somebody’s money hostage for a product that was not delivered on time (or at all) is unethical to say the least. This is coming from a company who works primarily with veterans and first responders.

I’ve proceeded by filing a credit card dispute, as well as a formal complaint with the BBB.

This company should be avoided at all costs, and certainly should not be working with first responders.

This information will be shared with my department administrative staff in hopes that we work with another company in the future.

this company is the worst! i never got my photos or yearbooks and they don't even answer the phone or email. i'm so mad, i would give them a big fat zero! they need to be closed down!

Me and my team got our portraits done by Heritage Portraits & Albums back in 2018 for our yearbook. It's been 5 years now and we still haven't received our yearbooks. I've tried contacting them multiple times but haven't received any response. It's crazy to think they're still in business after reading all these bad reviews. I wouldn't even give them 1 star.

I talked to one lady there. She said I could call her back anytime and gave me her number. I called her later and left a message, but she never got back to me. I've called many times since then, but the recording keeps saying I'm next in line and then says they're busy. It just keeps repeating the same thing. Nobody ever answers the phone.

I gotta say, I'm pretty peeved with Heritage. Don't even bother with them, they'll just take your cash and leave you high and dry. We're talkin' thousands of dollars here, money that came straight from our officers' pockets, not the department's. And get this, we've been waiting since 2020! That's a whole FIVE years with no albums to show for it. Even if they finally delivered now, it wouldn't even be accurate anymore. What a waste of time and money.

I been tryna get in touch with someone bout my order problem. I called like a buncha times for like 1.5 months. I left hella voicemails for a call back but they keep hangin up on me if I wait too long on hold. The system keep sayin I'm next in line but I still can't talk to nobody. It keep tellin me to leave voicemails but they never call me back. I even talked to my lawyer bout it and gonna keep tryin on my days off. Today's 7-25-22 so y'all know.

This company is terrible, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They came to my job at the District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department and it's been months since I paid $*** for Police Portraits and I still haven't received them. They said it would take 2-4 weeks, but it's December 7. When I called to ask about my order, they couldn't find it. I asked for a refund, but they said they don't give refunds. However, I checked my receipt and papers and there's no mention of no refunds. Don't deal with these people, they're only after your money. If they can do this to an entire police department, they won't care about you either. Run away as fast as you can!

I'M SO MAD RIGHT NOW. I PAID GOOD MONEY FOR THIS AND IT'S BEEN ALMOST A YEAR. I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

Heritage ain't good. They ain't never gave us the yearbook we paid for 1.5 yrs ago! We posed for pics and paid $66.45 at the *** Police Dept, but ain't got no yearbook yet. They keep sending emails telling us to buy more stuff, but they ain't even responded to our emails asking for our stuff we already paid for! It's messed up that they can hold our stuff for over 18 months. How they gonna scam a police dept like that?

Heritage took my photo for the Department. I ordered it on March 19th. But they sent me a photo of ***, MN instead. I emailed them in early April but got no response. I tried contacting them on 4/22, 5/2, and 5/17 but still no response. I messaged them on social media many times but still no response. I left my cell # and email for contact, my order # and my general issue for a resolution but still no response. Finally, on 6/3, they emailed me back saying they would exchange the item but no refund. I told them I don't want their product anymore.

On May 18th, Heritage came to my work at *** Sheriffs Office to take pics and offered many pic packages, including a yearbook of the members. It's 11/29/22 now, and I still haven't got the yearbook part. I kept up with the sheriffs office, and they said the company told them the fires in California were delaying production, then it was excuse after excuse, and still no product. I spent *** on products. I couldn't reach the company multiple times by phone. It's too late to file a chargeback with the bank because they took too long for production. There are 30+ people who haven't received the product they paid for, not just me.
