Helbing law group contacted me to sign up with them to settle 2 debts that I owed. they would take over the debt pay them off as I make payments to them for these debts and by signing up with them they would deal with the 2 companies I owed money to settle both accounts for less interest and less months to pay sounded like a good idea I would get these debts off my credit report and paid more quickly. Wrong I can not get anyone on the phone and my credit score took a 160 point nose dive and no one will answer my calls. I also contacted the original creditor and they cannot get them on the phone either. They are taking money out of my bank account for a service they are not providing. I cannot get them on the phone after 5 weeks of calling and trying everything to get ahold of them. I no longer want to do business with them and doubt if they are even a legit company. Seems like a scam I immediatley do not wan them to deduct monst from my account for anything. They are a scam. They are taking my money for a service they are noit providing. Please help in stopping this company or law firm or whatever they are from hurting anyone else.
Yes they did the same thing to me I had 2340.34 in what they called a special purpose account to which that say that they have nothing to do with. The special purpose account.said they can’t do anything because I canceled my account so helbing law won’t do anything for me they sent me a check for 206.00 and said they don’t owe me anything and now they won’t take my calls
My credity has also taken a nose dive and I am in much owrse shapoe with my credit then I was before and this is predatory tactics being used by this company to take adavantage of people with bad credit just trying to fix their credit so they can buy a house. I am a Veteran trying to get my creit score up to purchase a house with a VA loan which I can not get because Helbing Law Group has completely destroyed my credit and any hopes of me getting a VA loan.
They have done the exact same to me except I got a manager on the phone after attempting to cancel a debt I settled on my own because my credit took a 180 nose dive since December and they said I am only allotted $94 to the $2906 I have paid to get no services done except my credit going to crap and getting calls daily. The manager I spoke to said he’d send me an email with his extension after trying to figure out how to pay me back. I never got an email worked through the day and called back the next day they said there were no managers there, they have still yet to figure anything out and every time I get a hold of them they say they will call me back they don’t or they don’t answer until a day or two later to proceed the same process.
