I finally happy to see I love lucy back on the air after so long as the network was filled with those tragic christmas movies! But, why isn't I love lucy on week-ends and holidays? It's crazy to play those movies On week-ends, I mean lucy only takes up a few hours. You still have plenty of time to show those love drenched movies that usually get turned off...

Hallmark actors

I have been watching Hallmark Movies for many years. In fact, I am 64 years old. I remember watching the Hallmark Movies at a much younger age. As well, I watch so much Hallmark, I pretty much know the scenes and where the story is going after about 30 minutes of watching. Same pauses before the kiss, same misunderstanding of one's intent, same ending. New Writers Needed! No one one there is writing anything new. Same stories, different characters. Yet, my children bought me DO NOT DISTURB. I AM WATCHING HALLMARK MOVIES socks for Christmas. So, I obviously still watch. I feel I have invested more than enough time with Hallmark and it is time for me to speak up. It is well overdue. One of the issues I have had and as it appears, other African American viewers, is your lack of diversity in selecting actors of color for your characters. It appears you attempting to address some of those concerns by incorporating black actors in your shows. However, whoever the casting director is that is selecting these actors, needs another job assignment! I feel sometimes that you guys are trying to "stick it to us" by finding the least attractive black actor/actresses that you can and putting them in the shows. I think you intentionally put out casting calls for black actors with big nostrils and huge lips! I bet if I really decided to interrogate this and follow the casting, I would find that I am correct. You guys know what attractive is and what is not. You see it through your lens. I feel strongly that you are doing this on purpose to make a point. As well, it appears that you are just putting someone, anyone black, in some of the shots, and I am SURE you know those folks would not normally even be in some of those environments. But hey, see, we put a black person in there so y'all should be satisfied. SHAME ON YOU! It is quite insulting. In addition, and may I say equally appalling, are the WIGS that you guys are choosing to place on the heads of black actresses. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! NO ONE with any type of cosmetology experience would put those ill fitting wigs on anyone. Yet, you do so and then you set them next to a finely groomed Caucasian actress with finely groomed curls. Again, a direct insult. In addition, when you are not placing that too big (extra thick) wig on a small head, you let every other black actress have dread locks, be they pinned up or not combed at all. Why are you doing this? It is soooooo insulting. If this is the best your wardrobe department and/or hair dressing department can offer for actresses of color, they need to be FIRED. However, if they are following the instructions of a producer or director, the producer or director should be FIRED. Just for purposes of "proving my point", take for example this show that is on now, Winter in Vail. Another movie with this Lacey Chacey girl in the main character role. Goodness! Last weekend she was on both Hallmark and Hallmark Mysteries..back to back to back. Goodness! Enough of her already! Sorry, I digressed. In this show Winter in Vail, you show two black actresses sitting at a boardroom table with the worse possible hair. Again, small head HUGE, THICK, ILL FITTED wigs. As well, they are the least attractive persons in the room. I know you know how this looks. Why are you choosing to do this? I really want to know. But more importantly, STOP IT. I am sure you can find more attractive actors/actresses of color. Same effort as finding these. And I am sure Hallmark can afford better wigs, and find a black hair stylist that can work with black hair...one with a comb! Because whoever you are using, does not know how to work with black hair nor how to properly fit hair pieces. the hair stylists you employ appear to be spending their time, money and best work on nice extensions and hair pieces for the caucasian female actresses. Why are you guys doing this? How bout I give you the benefit of the doubt. Here is a question for you. Now that you have been made aware of these things that are quite insulting, when will you fix this gross oversight. If you need other proof let me know. I will send you a list of shows where bad hair, huge nostrils and lips are abundant. I look forward to your response.

Hallmark sling commercials

I use sling tv and have to endure the stupid commercials that come on while watching hallmark. I don't usually care but if you keep up the 3 commercials in a row about tulsi gabbard, or [censored] tom for president I'll have to get rid of it. Now the commercials run too long and when hallmark returns, I've missed about a minute of the current show. THAT'S ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS. CUT THE CRAP.

Hallmark lgbtq issues

I am a 53 year old man. I have been married for 21 years to my wife, who is a woman. We go to the Hallmark store everytime we go to our malls. Every ornament on our tree is a Hallmark ornament. We watch every Christmas movie that you make. We look forward to your Christian / Family Value movies all year long. We watch all of your movies and have bought alot of them in your stores. If you start having gay/lesbian movies on your channels, We will watch older Christmas movies that were made before the LGBTQ got their hands on everything. We will never watch your movies again. In this morally bankrupt world that we live in, people have to make a choice. Companies like Chick Fil A and Hobby Lobby are strong Christian organizations that do not take the pressure from this organization. You are supposed to be an organization that has morals and family values. Please do not give into the LGBTQ. You will lose my family as customers forever. You have to make the right choice.

I completely agree with you. I love all people regardless of their sexual orientation. However, I do not want to see two men kissing on TV while watching Hallmark with my family. It does not support family values and I will no longer be watching it either. I hope other people will push back as well because if we don't we will see things get worse. There is no reason to go that far...ever!

Hallmark movies

I have enjoyed your family oriented movies for years. Now I am beginning to see movies that include content I believe to be acceptable to the LGBTQ community. Such as introducing two men as husband and husband. If this is the new wave for Hallmark Channel I will no longer be able to watch your movies or support your advertisers. If appealing to a minority segment of the population is your goal, I wish you luck in your endeavor.

Hopefully I will be able to watch your movies well into the future. We will see.

Hallmark hallmark channel - lgbt commercials and movies

Hi Hallmark,
Thank you for so many years of good, clean, fun movies that I could watch with my conservative parents. I was extremely disappointed to hear that you will begin catering to the LGTBQ community through movies on your signature channel. I am a millennial and have thoroughly enjoyed your movies because they have remained consistent in their messaging of family first, small business, and community, with more conservative values. And feel I can't confidently continue watching or supporting those views.

Hallmark setting aside healthy traditional norms...

I am writing you today to express my utter disbelief in your corporation's decision to allow the LGBTQ agenda into your family programs. I have just been made aware that you are allowing a commercial with two lesbian brides kissing. How in the world can you justify a decision like that? You must know this alienates over half of your viewers. Please, let me stop you from trying to justify this decision because you can't. If you try to insinuate in any way that two women kissing is the same as a man kissing a woman as a husband and wife does in holy matrimony, you will and would be terribly mistaken. You must know your heart of hearts, in your mind, and in good conscience that that behavior is immoral. . . Legal yes, but still immoral to so many of us. All clear thinking people and certainly all true christians (and I might add most Jews and Muslims) know the difference between a man and a woman kissing, and a woman/woman or man/man kissing. The two acts are theologically different, they are morally different, and they are not equal for all traditional families throughout the world. For over three decades my family and I have enjoyed your programming because of its good faith based family morals. We are saddened that we will no longer be able to watch one of what we thought was one of the holdouts to the insanity that as gripped our society with this immoral agenda being demanded from the LGBTQ crowd. Asserting two women kissing as normal doesn't actually make normal. And asserting they are equal, over and over again, well, that doesn't make anything equal either. Stating that all kisses are equal, doesn't actually make all kisses equal. In the end, creation is simply going to shine through. It shines through in the thinking that is inside people's minds, even if it does not show up in their public comments. It even shows up in the necessity of having to say all kisses are equal. If all kisses really are equal, then you don't have to say all kisses are equal. It's simply a fact of the faith based worldview that we understand that God's act of creation shines through so much that when people look at a man and a woman kissing, they're not going to see something contrary to creation.
On the contrary, when they see two women kissing romantically, as in the wedding scene of this commercial, then they are going to see something quite contrary to creation. And whether they know how to articulate it that way, and/or whether or not they are willing to say it out loud, you can simply count on the fact that creation and the knowledge that God has implanted within every single one of us, that knowledge. It may be suppressed, but it's there for all of us, even the ones that are not going to write you and complain about it. I can only end be saying shame on you (as a corporation) for not having the courage to say "No, not on our family channel."

Sincerely,
Ken L. Callantine

Hallmark Do not want lgbt content on hallmark

Goodbye hallmark. Your channel was influenced by a very small minority of individuals along with "ellen", i'm sure. To think that the majority of your viewers were going to accept same sex kissing. You are wrong. We aren't interested and will miss the wholesome, family value movies and commercials that brought us to your viewing audience in the first place.

I am completely disappointed with Hallmark. I’ve been a loyal viewer for years and I love watching Hallmark movies that make me feel good and have wholesome family values. What happened to the shows where the characters go and worship in church at Christmas? Where Christmas songs that include the birth of Christ are played?
Why do we have to slip down the slippery slope of this world and push gay and lesbian characters? Gays kissing each other? Even gays flirting in movies where it is a man and woman falling in love? Why? I used to love to watch these shows with my children. I don’t want my children watching shows and I certainly don’t want to watch these shows. I will be looking for another network to meet my entertainment needs.

i too an so thoroughly disgusted that Hallmark has gone by the wayside in "Family Friendly" programming. It you think promoting the LGBTQ is family programming, think again. I love the gay people but i do not need it shoved in my face. We are called to love people but that doesn't mean we agree with their lifestyle.
I'M ASKING ON BEHALF OF THOUSANDS OF LOYAL FOLLOWERS TO PLEASE RETURN TO "FAMILY FRIENDLY" PROGRAMMING.
it's not too late but it will be if you continue to want to promote this type of lifestyle.
You won over your fan base because we didn't have to worry about hearing foul language (we hear plenty of just going to work or the store) or without having to explain to our children why there are two men or women kissing.
Do you really want to lose all your loyal followers just to promote a lifestyle we disagree with?

Hallmark is no longer the family friendly channel. We have been loyal viewers for 20+ years. Were very surprised with the gay/lesbian agenda on you movies, frankly shocked. Really don't care about someones sexual preference, but don't shoved it down our throats! Hallmarks gay movies were the talk of the hair and nail salon...all have stopped watching, which includes us. What next The Gay Mountie Movie!?! Sayonara Hallmark as you have been replaced by some other great viewing channels.

I am so disappointed with the Hallmark for bowing so low to the left and allowing gay actors to be a part of your movie line up. This is the 2nd night I have tuned in to what I believed would be a wonderful new Christmas movie only to find gay actors in the show. The Hallmark channel has stooped to low this time and is no longer a family friendly network. I know this comment probably does not make a difference in your movie production, but I had to stand up for what is truth.

Good-bye Hallmark. Hello Pureflix. I have watched Hallmark movies for years. No longer. Although I love the homosexuals that I know and work with, I detest their abnormal sexuality. And I detest even more how some homosexuals flaunt their perverted behavior in everyone's face--especially mine. Since Hallmark has chosen to stoop so low, I will move on to higher ground and find programming that truly is rated G.

I was shocked this weekend watching a movie with the marriage of two women. I loved Hallmark because it was a channel I didn’t have worry about the woke culture. I get enough of that on other channels. I want clean, old fashioned Christmas stories and sweet love stories. Not a bunch of silly gays and lesbians kissing on each other...or anything political!. They have their own channels. So continue and I will not watch. This was my happy place and now you have ruined it.

Well Hallmark you let yourself be pushed into the LGBT circus and have lost your "Family Friendly" image forever. I hope you can survive with the small minority of people who like this garbage. Me and my family are not some of them. I will also complain to your advertisers and hope it hits you right in the pocket book...

Hallmark one of your ads

I would rather not call this a complaint, just useful information and opinion. There are several people I know and are feeling the same way. It would be sad if your channel changes to be worldly like all the other ones; regarding your gay advertisement. We watch your channel for good wholesome family
I'm not racist, I'm not judgemental.
I have a gay nephew and a gay niece. I love them and as a Christian we are taught to love.
I pray you will find a way to stand for your values.

Hallmark commercial on hallmark movie

I emailed your company a few days ago but have not recevied a response. I want to know my voice is heard so I'm contacting you again. On behalf of my large family and wide circle of friends, we are extremly disappointed and utterly disgusted with your choice to air commercials that attempt to "normalize" same-sex unions. We trusted you to provide family-friendly shows that uphold traditional family values without profanity, immorality and sexual perversions. But you have caved in to the culture and have chosen "inclusion" over the deeply held values of millions of your viewers. While we respect the right of adult individuals to engage in that behavior (and to reap the spiritual, physical and emotional consequences), we stand firm in our opposition and will never condone or passively participate in such conduct. We most certainly will keep silent while our children and grandchildren are being harmed and confused by media. Until you reverse this policy and we can trust you, this family will not watch Hallamark movies or purchase products at your stores.

Hallmark the gay wedding ad.

I watch your channel with my children. I have a problem with the fact that you didn't stand by your decision to take the gay wedding commercial off your channel . There are several hundred channels that they can advertise on!. So as a result I will contacting my TV provider and have your channel removed from my list because i don't need you exposing my children to gay advertising .

We practically have had one of the Hallmark movie channels on our TV all the time. Now that Hallmark has embraced the LBGTQ agenda we are considering switching and deleting the Hallmark Channels completely. It is so disappointing that "Family" friendly Hallmark does not support family values when it is represented as being pro family. Might as well watch the Lifetime channel. We probably won't be buying Hallmark cards either.

Hallmark wedding ads

You were correct to remove the ad as it is offensive and detrimental to the family values that Hallmark represents. Why should you bow to the"demands" of 1% of the population? Are you truly willing to destroy your stellar reputation to the millions of loyal fans that have made you#1? Hallmark is the last channel, outside of religious programming, that is clean, G rated entertainment and programming with virtually no profanity or objectionable content. Why would you allow such a controversial and dividing issue on your network? This is totally unacceptable and you don't owe anyone an apology for removing the ad. I STRONGLY SUGGEST and encourage you to maintain your reputation and stay away from this. I have gay friends, advisors and my father was gay but I still object to this type of advertising and "entertainment". I am counting on a true response from you that is not a planned statement but a true response to my comments. I hope to remain a loyal viewer but only if this stops before it goes any further.

Hallmark zola commercials

I would really like to understand how such a wholesome channel can move away from its historic family values base? What percentage of the LGBTQ community do you believe even watches your network? It is the only safe channel we can watch without worrying about sexual content and profanity!
Now we will have to turn the television off completely!
Looks like it took you less than 24 hours to bow to political correctness!
Please keep this channel free of the gay agenda!

Hallmark the commercial with two gays kissing

Hi I have always been a BIG fan of Hallmark - the cards, items and the movies. the movies were always tasteful. well i for one do not want to see two people of the same sex kissing. there are children who watch tv and many parents are not ready for their young kids to see this type of behavior (yes behavior). Hallmark movies were always good, wholesome shows and now bc it's 2019 and others have put pressure on you, you have turned your back on wholesome! why don't we all just go around with no clothes on bc others think it's a good idea! I'm VERY dissappointed in Hallmark.

Hallmark hallmark movies to change format of movies

We were so excited to be able to watch movies that went along with Christian values and did not depict sexual situations which are prevalent on regular tv but are now appalled to know that you have turned your backs on these values. Unless you charge your stance and not be concerned with "numbers" and famous peoples comments, our family will not return to Hallmark movies because we want to see wholesome relationships. Please don't be concerned with numbers just do what is right and blessings will come. Thank you for our opportunity to express our concerns.

Hallmark programing

we have watched hallmark and hallmark movies & mysteries for along time and everybody at church has also but as of this weekend over 1000 families at my church will no longer be watching either of these because of the decision to show un Biblical shows about gays and lesbians. Hallmark has always been family oriented programing and free from this kind of trash. It is not only clearly against the Bible teachings but it is gross and very very offensive to all Christians. If you continue in this direction we will petition all of our cable companies to cease showing your channels. This is clearly Sin according to the Bible and Almighty Gods teachings and we don't want our kids to be subjected to this trash and we don't appreciate you being so willing to compromise your morals and standards that you have been showing over the last several years. It is obvious that you are no longer concerned about wholesome and family driven values and are giving in to the worldly liberal lack of morals. This type of programing is a slap in the face of the majority of your loyal and longtime viewers . We have always been able to turn to the hallmark channels and knew we could watch with our kids and know that we would not be subjected to this totally wrong gay and lesbian crap. we don't want to watch this trash, if we did we would turn to the other worldly stations bet we chose to stick with you. You obviously don't know your viewers very well. Your loyal viewers are the ones that have made you what you are and without them you will continue to decline. We are contacting every Church in Mobile and starting a movement to avoid any hallmark channel affiliated programing. This is a sad day at my house because me and my wife and Family sit down every night to watch all of your movies even if we have already seen it because it was wholesome and good moral programs and My Wife and I are crushed that you have chosen this path. From the heart of a very very long time faithful viewer I hope you find out what a mistake you are making. [protected]@thompsonengineering.com
