I was also a victim of this. It was too late and I parted with my money but I called them back within 15mins to say I would like to cancel but a lady called Rumana Begum said I would have to wait 28 days for a cheque to get my refund. This sounded absolutely ridiculous as I only gave her my card details 15mins ago. The cheque to this date still hasn't arrived even after many attempts to call them and email them for my refund. Any suggestions on how to recover money from a bogus company? Perhaps go to a small claims court?
Please please do not fall for this. you will regret it, ive never felt so degraded and low. really has demotivated me from my area of studies
i lost £200 to this ### of a company, i am a student who is desperste for some good training and guranteed job. they took advantage of my valnurability, riped me off my money and wont refund it to me. its pathetic. they rbibe you over the phone, talk a whole load of lies and rubbish. they pretend to be an employer with vacancies, when really they are a ### money grabing recruitment company!

I received a call 3 months a go from that agency AGE, to make some courses with them, to help me to find a good job, I agreed and gave my card details to charge it. But on the phone they didn’t tell me the price with VAT, so in the same day when they send me the email with the total amount, I replied asking to cancel it and call them 3 days later because I never received any reply to that email; in that time the operator told me that he was going to send me the check with the refund and it was going to take 28days. Now it just passed 3 months, I called them several times, received always the same excuse that I need to wait and wait because the person who issued the check wasn’t working on that day, etc; I send several emails after that, but I never got any answer.
Last week I called them again and asked to speak with a supervisor or someone who could sort my problem in that call and the operator who spoke with me told me that he was going to send the check again on that same day and that I would receive it until this Tuesday 23rd of July. Once again, I’m waiting for the check.
I’m tired of calling and sending emails that no one answer, I feel really disrespected with all this story; so please I would like to have some help to make a complaint and to have my refund back.
I already sent an email to 'consumer@claimsregulation.gov.uk', I'm waiting for a reply from them.

i had a call from age recruitment, i was asked to do a one day dental admin /reception training which will cost me £100 or more . I told the lady to call me tomorrow to take my card number as i dint have enough money in my bank . how she was describing about the job it seems they got huge job vacancy but not the trained people . after one day of training they will give me the proper job without any other interview . i don't know in that case what i should do . the age recruitment have valid website . if there is scam how they manage to run the proper website with phone number .
These guys are the biggest Scam institute and please stay away from them. I am the recent victim. They give me the wrong address to follow and later they told me tht u r in the wrong address and u r late so u cant attend the class. They claim themselve tht our office exist which mean they are scam. Finally i found their office and then they promised me tht they will book me another class and apology me for directing me to the wrong place. When i left their office and they never emailed or called me back. Finally, I spoke with Ben who claimed tht he is the manager and he was not a manager. He told me u hv pay another £100 pound if u want to attend the class cause we cant pay out of our pocket even if we are wrong or whatever.

I think you will find we do not claim to be HSE approved, our CPR and Manual Handling courses are not registered with HSE because they do not govern these course, there is no accrediting body who does. If you would like to check this I would advise contacting HSE yourself. In order to provide these trainings our trainers must hold a train the trainer qualification within these fields which they do.
In regards to our emergency first aid at work, this is HSE accredited but once again our centre is not approved because only our trainers must be registered with an accrediting board such NUCO which they are. Once again I would advise any candidates to contact the HSE and confirm this for yourself.
