Dear Gulf Air Customer Service,

I am writing to formally request compensation for a significant disruption I experienced on my recent booking with Gulf Air. I was scheduled to fly from Cairo to Bahrain on 7th Aug on a direct Gulf Air flight (Flight Number: 0080]). Upon arrival at the airport, I was shocked to discover that the flight was overbooked and that my itinerary had been changed without any prior notification to a Qatar Airways flight with a transit in Doha.

This unexpected change caused considerable inconvenience and delay in my travel plans. Furthermore, upon arriving in Bahrain, I found that my luggage did not arrive with me and is currently missing. The baggage delay has caused additional stress and inconvenience.

Given the circumstances, I am requesting the following:

1. Compensation for the Overbooking and Unnotified Flight Change: The lack of communication and subsequent rerouting have caused undue hardship and delay. I request appropriate compensation for this disruption.

2. Compensation for Missing Luggage: I expect reimbursement for any expenses incurred due to the delayed luggage and compensation for the value of the lost items if they are not recovered promptly.

I expect a satisfactory response to this request by tomorrow, 9th Aug. Please be advised that if I do not receive a prompt and adequate resolution, I will escalate this matter to the appropriate aviation authorities and consumer protection agencies.
