I received this email:
Hey Christine,
This is Andy with Gold Standard Relocation, I am reaching out about your upcoming move! I have a truck that is doing a storage unit drop-off about 30 miles from you in Santa Rosa, CA around the time you've requested to have everything loaded. Right now it's heading to Camp Verde, AZ empty. If we could pair you with this truck it will save you 30-50% on your move. Give me a call today for your FREE quote at [protected] After Hours Cell [protected] Have a Blessed Day!

Sincerely,

Andy House

Wouldn't that imply that Gold Standard is an actual moving company with their own trucks? How can you offer such a discount? You must be using your own trucks.
He low balled me by 444 +/- sq ft. They paired us with a moving company that didn't show up on time 2 days in a row. They failed to negotiate on our behalf to get our things delivered. They are only "negotiating on our behalf" now that the moving company is charging us storage fees. Our bill is now up to $10, 000.
Gold Standard Relocation got my business using lies and deception. They took $1, 500 that was deducted from our mover's estimate and our bill was still $2, 000 more than what was estimated. $5, 500 est., -$1, 500 that was paid to Gold Standard, our bill after all our things were loaded was $6, 600. They clearly work together to scam people our of money. Our things were picked up over a 2 day period in the end of March, we didn't want to pay for being treated to rudely and made to feel like nothing more that a piece of trash, we still don't have our possessions.

Desired outcome: Refund from Gold Standard and no storage fees paid to Brooklyn Moving Inc.

Gold Standard (lack thereof “standards”) relocation—

I think you guys, as a company, should be responding to all complaints! I don’t understand why you avoid majority instead of taking care of them, and doing the right thing? I left a very valid complaint, and you guys haven’t addressed it at all. Makes me believe that you know you basically stole my money as well, but are too cowardly to admit and own up to it. You don’t want to look like the bad guys again.

They’ve clearly ripped many people off! I’d like to bet that there are hundreds more that just don’t know where to file a complaint against them. I wish for them to go out of business and sink to the bottom of their dark evil hole!

I filed a complaint here as well, and they never acknowledged it. Probably because they don’t want to face the fact that they’re in the WRONG, so instead they don’t comment, as if they don’t see the complaint. Makes them sleep better at night!

Gold Standard and Relocation is a broker who hired LIMITLESS out of New Jersey.
LIMITLESS hired some skitish young to come load our belongings on June 17th. They took 2200 from my husband, cash and said our belongings would be delivered by the 21st of June 2021. Fast forward to December 24, 2021, our belongings has been auctioned off for $472.00 and we were told lies after lies.
30 years of sentimental memories and all of our belongings GONE!
Thank the good Lord above that OUR insurance is helping us.
People please don't use these two so called companies, they are worthless, and a fraud. They are scammers. Please use your resources and use a different moving company. Don't use these liars. Mrs. Tagliarino

The same exact thing happened to me. This a poor excuse for a business. Absolute worst customer service EVER as well as holding my things for random, arguing, threatening me and blaming me for their issues. My initial quote was $1, 800. I still don't have my things after 50+ days and I have paid over $3100. They are demanding another $2720 with no delivery date in site. There is a class action lawsuit against them with over 30+ customers they have done this exact thing to. Several different companies that Gold Standard hires are included.

I feel for you and your family possessions. My items were picked up in June 2021 and 53 days later nothing . They tell me they have reached out to the company they hired to handle my move. I have been told it is in Kansas, and then another customer service member said it was stored in a warehouse in Florida where I moved to. Nothing since . I have multiple federal employee agencies involved in finding my possessions.
