The website is written to where this company can "cover their butts" legally as far as refunds go. My mechanic called the offered number where he was told that the device would not do what the website stated: "...PERMANANT & COMPLETE DISABLING..." And the mechanic also stated that he's "had a lot of calls about this issue, and that the device wouldn't fix what the website stated."
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
A 25 CENT RESISTOR DOES EXACTLY THE SAME THING AS THIS ALARMTEK PASSLOCK DOES. EXACTLY THE SAME THING, BYPASSES THE IGNITION CYLINDER AND KEY. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT IS A JOKE. I KNOW I THREW AWAY 90$ ON IT. JCB
I paid the 5 bucks to get directions on how to uninstall a Magic kill switch, I emailed him 1 question never got a response, then I had to basically figure the uninstallation process using google and Utube, then I emailed him to say I figured out the process, seems my email was blocked, , , , what kind of service is this? STAY AWAY, go to another website
Hmmm, 2 complaints in one year fron 2 cheap guys who would not follow directions. Interesting. I sell well over 100 of these bypasses (per week!) and very little if any call backs for refunds or for help. Seems the deciding factor here is the fact that 99% of these systems are in cars and trucks currently doing what they were installed to do. I will stand by my equipment and policies. THE DEVICE DOES NOT BYPASS THE ENTIRE SYSTEM AS ADVERTISED AND HE DOES NOT REFUND.
I just had the exact same experience. I purchased this to fix my Saturn Ion igntion problem. I asked very specific questions to ensure this would fix my problem, and was assured it would.
Come to find out, you have to install momentary switches, in addition, to make this "Rube Goldberg" contraption work. I confronted him and he hid behind his website C.Y.A. statement after fraudulently representing this sale. Not gonna take it.
