My family bought two male shorthair exotic kittens from Tricia Simpson, owner of 'Glendoon Cattery' and 'Dolce Gattini Cattery'. We were unaware when we bought them that they were infested with ringworm and were being treated for it, we were not told about the cats condition nor told to continue/start treatment for the highly contagious situation they were in. After taking both cats to the vet they were diagnosed with ringworm, shaved, bathed and ointment applied every day thankfully saved one cat, but the other was not so lucky and we were forced to have him put down. As well as being covered in ringworm he was immune-suppressed and could not fight it off. Subsequently, my family of four have spent hundreds of dollars on vet bills and ringworm cream as our surviving cat is a carrier, and the rest of our family has had to have treatment for as long as three years.
Both websites Glendoon and Dolce Gattini (now run by her under 18 daughter) are still active with cats for sale on both websites.
It would be good to know that justice was being done and that she was no longer allowed to breed, own or sell cats after this incident.
I wish for this complaint to be removed and have e-mailed complaints board to do so.
This should be removed as per the Complainant's request. Failure to remove this exposes this site for the scam that many think it is.
