Dr. Gayle Dean told me I needed a LEEP procedure, that my insurance would not cover for anesthesia, and I would be required to pay out of pocket if I wanted anesthesia and a team would come from Phoenix. Otherwise she would do four injections into the cervix and valium would be available if needed.

(She should have said that insurance would not cover for anesthesia in their office but that I could be referred to a doctor with privileges at a surgicenter where the procedure could be performed safely)

The procedure was performed on 12/13/2021 at Crossroads facility. She did not provide valium though I told her I needed it and specifically told her my nervous system could not handle this. It resulted in my dissociation. At this point I was screaming at her to get those things out of me. The procedure was aborted. The manager intercepted my call to a PCA and would never allow me to speak to the doctor after that. I never received post-op instructions. They rushed two forms in for me to sign while I was sitting on the exam table, naked from the waist down. I have no idea what they were. Is this SOP?

Causes of peritraumatic dissociation: sexual/physical assault

torture/capture

I could make a case for each of these as my nervous system was assaulted into dissociation with a hot razor through my vagina.

Desired outcome: Ban them from performing the LEEP procedure.Separate written apologies from the dr and the mgr Demote mgr for sacrificing pt safety for financial gain
