My husband traded our 2021 Forest River motorcoach with 5k miles on a nothing-but-a-lemon 2022 Thor Challenger. We received $90k for our Forest River in excellent condition - HUGE mistake (General RV wanted to know our payoff and low-balled us by $10k). We lived in our Forest River for only one month.

When we looked at this Thor motorcoach (August 2022), the floor was stained throughout the coach. The salesmen stated this would be taken care of before possession - that was a flat out lie!

While transferring out contents from our Forest River to the POS not-fixed-floor Thor, I found interior cosmetic problems. We started working with the service department the day of delivery, 08/26/22.

After living in the coach for two days, I emailed a long list of additional problems (08/28/22) to David Joiner with General RV, Orange Park. The problems and emails only grew from that date.

Our motorcoach did not go in for service until 10/20/22 (we got nothing short of a blow-off from the service advisor (Autumn) we were appointed). It got so bad that Chris Dietrich, Operations Manager, Duane Louchart, Service Manager, Kyle Bozeman, Service Supervisor, and Haley Stout, Lead Service Advisor, had to get involved. Upon drop-off, Autumn was MIA. We had come up with 37 items that needed fixing. We lived in a hotel room from 10/19/22 to 11/03/22 and a cottage at the RV park we resided (WHEN the lemon was in our possession) from 11/04 to 11/12/22.

General RV of Orange Park was not able to fix or properly fix ALL the problems with this lemon. My husband told Chris Dietrich, Operations Manager, they sold us a lemon - they knew it, and we want our money back. Chris flat-out said, "That wasn't going to happen." I even contacted Thor Manufacturing customer service to lodge complaints against this dealership. I even got the blow-off from them.

After dealing with this nothing-short-of-a-disaster situation, we sold the motorcoach with 1,536 miles on it to another dealer in Jacksonville, FL on 01/20/23 (we gave General RV Orange Park an opportunity to purchase it and they came in with the lowest offer - - imagine that!). We lived in the coach for maybe four months. We returned to ND approximately a month later.

This entire situation has inflicted emotional scares and financial losses. Every avenue I've tried, even lawyers and the Attorney General's Office in Florida, was meant with too-bad, so-sad attitudes. That's what I get for putting my trust in a company and its employees. How does one put a price on pain and suffering that I still endure today? This is why it has taken me 10 months to finally speak-up.

I have all applicable correspondence, maintenance records, and pictures referencing this experience. I will only provide them upon resolution.

Claimed loss: $1,000,000.00

Desired outcome: I want to be compensated for the Claimed loss stated on this form, which includes pain and suffering (that I still endure today), financial losses, and the losses we took trading our Forest River and selling our Thor Challenger.
