Garfield Refining has lied to me on several occasions and has stolen over $6k worth of diamonds from my order and no one will respond to my very simple request, which was to explain to me how they returned nothing but Cubic Zirconia stones to me and stated that these were the leftover stones after they completed a fire assay, which is an oxymoron.. if CZ’s went through a fire assay it would be extremely easy to see when looking through a loupe and not one of the stones has any indication of going through a fire assay. Instead, they stole all of my high value diamonds and replaced them all with CZ’s and claimed that they aren’t in the business of selling diamonds, which is another lie, as I have a contact in the Philly Diamond district that confirmed that their employees sell diamonds & precious stones multiple times each week. This scam of a company is straight up stealing from the public with impunity and they need to be stopped. I will be filing a lawsuit if they don’t agree to do the right thing and refund me for my complete losses or return my diamonds.
Additionally, I caught their employees lying about the purity of my assay, which amounted to nearly 3 karats higher purity, so they are also quite literally just making up whatever numbers they see fit and it’s nothing but a scam that is making them money hand over fist and it’s absolute BS.
Claimed loss: $6k + 30-36 Fine Diamonds ranging from .25c to 1c each (approx 20-25 tcw)
Desired outcome: Return my diamonds or pay $10k for my losses, time dealing with this, and punitive damages.
