The newly formed GAC Family Channel, aka Great American Country, has been poaching most of the decades-long top talent from Crown Media's Hallmark Channels. GAC recently signed Candace Cameron Bure, Danika McKellar, Jen Tilley, and Trevor Dillon. I refuse to pay extra for a GAC subscription just to watch these actors. GAC is trying to portray themselves as "lily white," yet they hired Lori Loughlin, who committed fraud to get her daughter into college. Apparently, they lowered their standards for her.
If GAC really wants to give Hallmark a run for their money, they should offer their channel as a regular non-subscription TV channel to directly compete with Hallmark. What is GAC afraid of? Obviously, there is a major feud with GAC Media CEO Bill Abbott, a former Hallmark executive, and the remaining Hallmark top brass. Personally, I don't like the direction Hallmark is going either with same sex relationships. Hallmark is going woke, like Disney. If this keeps up, I won't watch either channel and watch HGTV instead. GAC will go the way of CNN+ — into the dustbin.
I love GAC and I was thrilled to see Lori Loughlin in a new movie this year. She paid the price for her poor decisions and I'm happy she has the opportunity to redeem herself.
On another note, I don't care for the commercials for AIDS medication as it shows homosexual men together. I also don't care for the Sephora ads that depict a man in women's makeup. I don't want the children in my home being exposed to this.
The advertisements should reflect wholesome family values, not the LBQT alphabet folks agenda to indoctrinate children. And as an adult, I find it repulsive.
I will stick with Hallmark. Sweet movies that continue to support diversity and inclusion. Thank you Hallmark.
I find the GAC movies to be choppy and the acting very elementary. The movies seem thrown together just to meet a deadline. Plus, I will never watch another Candace Bure film after her extremely bigoted and judgmental comments about the LGBTQ community. Shame on you, Candace!
I totally agree. Candance has ruined it for me too. Add to it the highlighting of the convicted felon, Lori Laughlin, and you’ve lost another viewer. Candance being high and mighty and her felon buddy has truly left a bad taste in my mouth.
This is a very rude comment. Hallmark has increasingly gone woke. Many people just want a safe place to watch tv programming for all family members. And the comment about Lori Loughlin? She did her time for her crime. Martha Stewart went to prison and was welcomed back to Hollywood with open arms. Lori's Garage Sale Mysteries have also reappeared on Hallmark. Have you ever heard of the word Forgiveness?

It seems all of the girls/woman all have the same hairstyle..long curled on ends, all look alike. Any chance styles can be styled differently. Unfortunately, that goes for Candace herself

One good thing about Hallmark is that if you buy the channel there are no commercials.
I recently saw that you have Lori Loughlin appearing in a new movie on your channel. I must let you know that I will not be watching it. Nobody wants to see a person who bribed a school to get her daughter in.

I have always watched the Hallmark Channel. This past year I have started to watch the great American family movies. I enjoy all the Christmas movies. I watch one after another. I recently saw coming attractions for the new year of movies, and I see that Lori Loughlin is joining your movie actors. this has disappointed me, and I will not watch any movies with her in it. I do not like her. She is a snake After her and her husband bribed the school to get her daughter in, that was it for me. She’s no goody two shoes. She’s a phony.. I’m now very disappointed in ur choice to bring her on ur channel.
Lori Loughlin served her time. If you are a Christian you should forgive her. As long as she isn't still doing it I don't have a problem with her being in movies. Actually when I think of what some actors do off screen, some of their lifestyles, if I went by that I probably wouldn't watch any shows/movies they are in! But, instead I go by the story the movie tells, the content if I want to watch or not.
I have always loved Hallmark until recently. Hallmark no longer is my choice. I am so happy that Great American Family is available to my family and I never have to worry if the content lives up to our Christian standards. Thank you so much for taking the dive and standing up for traditional marriage.

I have always loved watching the Christmas Hallmark movies in the past, but I am tired of fast forwarding through inappropriate commercials and same sex scenes the last couple of years. I am so thankful to discover the Great American Family Channel that I can watch when my grandchildren are around. Even though some of the actors on GAC seem less experienced, I am canceling my subscription to the Hallmark Channel. I commend some of my favorite Hallmark actors for making the move to stand up for traditional and Christian family values!
Used to LOVE Hallmark, what a refuse from the stress all around, but now that they are “woke” they put the current stress right in your face forcing you to watch or turn the channel and for the first time in my life I’m not finishing their movies, erasing many from my DVR, and not choosing to record most because of content/sensitive issues I’d normally try to separate myself from in the first place but they’re intent on not letting us escape the ridiculous controversies and keep pushing their woke crap…(my apologies but it is what it is.) The freak show is no longer elective as they want to make it compulsory! ENOUGH already. I’m getting into other alternative channels and am respecting those actors jumping ship from Hallmark’s wokeness. We are not children and do not need Hallmark’s judgemental assistance. TURN THE CHANNEL. Done with Hallmark!
I dumped Hallmark. I got tired of the changes that Hallmark made in there movies. Im so glad GAF is now available to watch for family friendly viewing . If Neal Bledsoe doesnt like the way GAF handles the shows then he can go back to Hallmark. Thank you Candace Cameron Bure for taking a stand for your beliefs.
It always amazes me how people want to back their bigotry and hatred towards other humans by using Christianity as the reason. No where in the Bible does it give you the right to condemn or pass judgment on another human being because of their race, lifestyle or beliefs. You are not God and you don't get to judge people. The Bible says we are to love and respect everyone. If you and the actors that have left Hallmark have a problem with their types of movies that's fine, but own your issues and quit using "Christian Beliefs" or "Family Appropriate" as your go to cover up. There are many True Christians in this world that do not believe the way you do. So do us all a favor and quit hiding your true feelings while giving the true Christians in this world a bad reputation. Guaranteed on judgement day you're going to be explaining a lot for your actions in the name of Christianity.
I started watching GAF because a lot of my favorite Hallmark actors have moved there.
Well they can keep it. I have watched most of the new offers and not one is worth re-watching like I do on Hallmark.
Even my fav actors cant make a bad story better.
The stories are sappy to the point of diabetic coma or just really bad acting.
So far not one old or new movie is worth watching a second time.
I'm so disappointed.
Love the good wholesome movies. The family values have been on decline in years BUT this reminds us of love and respect for each other. They are well written and clean.

Hallmark has offered formulaic feel-good movies for years. Nothing Emmy-worthy, but entertaining and comfortable when you don't want to indulge in high quality drama, comedy, sci-fi, etc.
It is encouraging to see them portraying real Americans with greater inclusion of people of color, interracial relationships, and LGBTQ people. It reflects a modern day USA bringing Hallmark into the forefront of 21st century comfort video with good feelings across the gamut of Americans.
I'm so thankful for GAC. It stands for good morals and Christian standards. It's about time, don't give in to the woke generation! They have enough channels. Stand strong and don't be like Hallmark and fall under they intimidation. I agree with Candice Cameron Bure and as for JoJo Siwa and Hiliare Burton they have no right to put the channel or Candice down. They say free country but they always try to make it the way they think. Well guess what? We are don't think the some way. Read the book of Timothy in the Bible and you will see same sex marriage is wrong. God made Man and Woman. So stop making excuses for other genders. GOD SAID THAT SETTLES IT! AMEN

Before the Christmas season approaches can you please add playback to your movies? I find myself switching channels to watch other movies that I can watch from the beginning.
You don't have to pay extra for GAC. It is on cable. Frndly is a very affordable streaming service that has Hallmark, Lifetime and GAC if you want an alternativeto cable. GAC is back to non-woke family friendly viewing. Bill Abott is the CEO and he left Hallmark when the Zola same sex kiss commercial controversy happened.

That sounds like the problem is with whatever streaming service or Cable service you are watching? Have you tried recording the shows then maybe when you go to watch it the entire show or movie will be there?
I've never had that happen where it automatically changes from one to the other.

I am NOT a Trump or Biden supporter! If I think I will enjoy a movie I will watch it and so far I love GAC! I watch movies/shows for the story not because of the actors. If I didn't watch movies/shows based on my agreement or disagreement with the actors lifestyles I probably wouldn't watch any of them.
