1st he said my electricity "was on" why was he sent to the residence? when I paid for a "temporary" from Center Point to keep my electricity on while I wait for the final repairs to be done. 2nd he said i needed a new breaker box (my new box was installed a year ago by a licensed electrician) then he opened my generator transfer box and started citing problems. I told him that professionals who only sell and install generators installed the generator and the transfer box and Center Point approved their work after a thorough inspection. Then he said my unit was not grounded and he couldn't start work until it was grounded. I told him it was grounded and approved by a Center Point Master Electrician. Then he said he found the ground. Then he said 65 ' of line would be needed when he measured 45' and added 5' to each end. All I need is the new wires to replace the burnt out wires from the meter to the transformer. He said he was going to use the existing wires that Center Point used in their "temporary". I have insurance for this and don't want or need a new breaker box, nor ground wire, and don't want anyone to touch or alter the generator transfer box (or I will lose my Warranty per the vendor/installer's contract and myself). Then he said the "new" line should be a 200 when I have a 100. He said he couldn't figure out why a 200 wasn't installed initially. I told him the "professionals" made that decision not me. But if my insurance would pay for it fine. If not and it is a "upgrade" I did not want it. I don't want to be sold a "bill of goods" and/or "conned" into purchasing something I don't need. I just want the faulty line replaced and I have a insurance contract with a Center Point provider wherein they have agreed to pay for said services. Your contractor can contact Center Point and have the current taken off, and remove the meter. Then your contractor can replace the faulty wiring and conduit, cover the trench and leave. I don't want them touching my generator, breaker box nor generator transfer box/switch. Just do their job and bill my insurance for their work.

I was suppose to get 15 minute advance notice prior to his arrival and did not receive it. He called me when he was there. I want 15 minute advance notice in the future so I can have my electrician there to insure the job is performed correctly and your contractor does not mishandle my generator, generator transfer switch/box, breaker box, ground line, etc. I will pay for my electrician for his second opinion.

Desired outcome: I would like another "contractor" sent out to do the job who is honest.
